Talisman is a 10man casual, progression focused, community-based
PVE guild on the Icecrown-US server that has existed for just over
10 years through previous and new MMOs. We currently raid 1 day a
week, 6pm - 10pm MST (8pm - 12pm EST) on Wednesdays. Raiding only 1
day a week, we really value our time.
In WotLK, we completed all hardmode bosses in Ulduar, ToGC and ICC including Halion in 25man. In Ulduar, Talisman achieved US 59th, Server First Yogg0 as well as US 66th, Server First Algalon. In ToGC we attained US 39th Tribute to Mad Skill as well as nabbed US 59th Call of the Grand Crusader. Since moving to 1 day a week in Cataclysm, we have still found success clearing content. We managed to complete 12/12 normal modes in T11, and also knocked out 3 heroic mode bosses. In Firelands T12 content, we raided 2 days a week through Ragnaros, then moved back to 1 day to complete T12 at 5/7HM before the next tier was released. Now in 4.3, we're currently 6/8 in the Dragon Soul instance.
Talisman prides itself in having a mature raiding core with the average age being mid-late 20s. While we do not have an age requirement, we seek only mature and responsible players. Some of our most notable characteristics include a low-key, quiet nature, a desire to avoid drama, a skilled, dedicated core of raiders, and a familiar, fun raiding environment. We treat our members very well, with fully paid repairs and respec funds. In return we expect focus, full preparation and dedication. We try to keep an extremely small, tight-knit roster, and rarely recruit "for the bench". For this to work, we encourage our members to fill multiple roles in the raids through off-specs and different gear sets.
To be considered you must have the best gear available to you, experience with the current content, a positive attitude, ability to comprehend boss fights and various strategies and a schedule that will allow you to participate in nearly 100% of our raids.

1 Healer
Holy/Discipline Priest
Restoration Shaman
