Our guild strives to create an environment where professionalism, passion, and analysis rule. We believe progression starts with recruiting, so we spend a lot of time on applicants. After you find an excellent recruit, of course, keeping them is the next big thing, so retention is another focus of our management strategy. Finally, ownership is the last core quality that we want the whole guild to feel. It causes each member to help the other improve, and it drives self-improvement.
As for specifics, we don't run a bench, consequently we only bring in people with very high attendance and only keep them under those conditions. We use loot council to help assign loot in a way that will cause us to progress with the most speed while allowing everyone to feel rewarded in a tangible way.
