“Esti Efiu” Guild

Esti Efiu founded in 2011 is a Mythic Semi-Hardcore raiding guild, our goal is to progress through content at a comfortable pace, and have fun while doing it. We strive to maintain a friendly and laid back atmosphere that encourages growth of all guild members. Our Mythic raiding times are minimal, from 8:00-11:00PM (EST), Tuesday and Thursday. Due to our limited window to raid, we expect strong attendance from all core raid members, with exceptions for emergencies or pre-coordinated absences. Loot is not our primary objective, nor is the speed of our progression; we are primarily focused on downing bosses as a team and having fun. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Required Add-ons We use Discord for voice in raids as well as to socialize as a guild. We encourage all members to regularly join Discord voice. Install Overwolf Client and then the following add-ons. Add-ons should be updated regularly and always before raids. Have questions about how to use any add-ons? Ask in guild chat. Raider Expectations We expect the following from our raiders: Good attendance (see below) Complete a +14 keystone each week for a maximized weekly cache Keep your covenant leveled to an appropriate amount Keep your bags stocked with 60+ pots and 20+ Augment Runes (you won't burn through this on a regular raid night, but downtime for restocking is wasted time) Know your class, compare logs with better players, join your class Discord and make sure you know what talents and rotation you should do for each boss. Not sure how to read logs? Ask for help! At minimum, watch a FatBoss vid for each boss. Checking logs of your class for cooldown timings can help a lot! Stay focused and keep a level head when things aren't going smoothly Enjoy the journey, loot is temporary, achievements can be bought, but progging bosses together for fun is what you're here for! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Raid Loot (Personal) We see loot as nothing more than a tool to perform better as a team. Raid loot is distributed by personal loot rules in SL. When a loot piece drops that is tradable for you, please trade it to the designated officer to be /roll'd on. Two important things: DO NOT: Shard loot someone else could have used. If you're found to be sharding usable loot, you will be removed from future raids. DO NOT: Sell loot in any manner. If you're found to be selling, you will be removed from future raids. The guild will provide vantus runes, flasks, and feasts for raids, we do not require BOE's to be given to the guild. Any donations to keep the guild stocked is appreciated and will be noted. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ranks Raider is our main raiders who have shown commitment through attendance and performance in raids, many of them have been here since we began progression. These are the core of both our raid, and the guild. Raiders are expected to help their guildmates outside of raids to make Esti Efiu the best it can be. Raiders have priority for raid spots over other members. Trial Raider is our rank for players who have verified they have the gear/logs to attend raids, and a desire to raid regularly as part of the main team, but are not yet core members. Promotion is based on guild integration (actively contributing to the wider guild and raid team), attendance, and performance. Trials may last up to two weeks of raiding. Members are our social rank and usually comprised of retired raiders and friends of raiders, although we do accept social members from time to time. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sitting We raid as a team, which may mean you are swapped in or out during progression, but we ensure raiders who were sat get their kills in following weeks and when bosses are on farm have people sit out who no longer need gear from the boss. If the Raid Lead or Officers don't feel a raider is geared or skilled enough for the current boss (or bosses following) we may ask you to sit. Due to our limited raiding hours it’s important we have some focus on efficiency when reaching the more difficult bosses of progression. Don’t take it personally, but you likely need to spend more time farming gear on easier tiers or from Mythic+ before you are ready. Perhaps you need to work on your rotation or mechanics a bit more. Try to find another player of your class within the guild for advice on how to improve if you are showing in low percentiles on WarcraftLogs.
