Obsidian is a small guild of level headed and competent raiders / players.

--About Obsidian--
Obsidian is a currently small guild of people that has been around since the start of Wrath of the Lichking. Formally known as Lux Æterna of Anvilmar. We had a short intermission of little raiding due to leading issues, but now, we are back. Obsidian is casual raiding guild that runs two teams currently on the Weekends, and one on Wednesday and Thursday. We are a somewhat laid back group of people who strive to do well in current raiding content, while still remaining professional when it is needed, and we believe we achieve that.

Obsidian finished the first tier of MoP at 1/16h after three weeks of raiding, and is now progressing through Throne of Thunder

--About raiding with Obsidian--
While we are laid back, we like to remain professional when it comes to getting in progression. So if you apply, we ask that you can maintain 90% attendance, keep up on current content if you have not seen it yet, have a thick skin, and keep a level head.

--How are we different from other guilds?--
We have all of the progression without the feel of being a 2nd job. Our raid schedule will never go above 2 days, even during progression. Though the guild is active outside of raiding, it is in fact a casual guild. We occasionally will do old raids along with the current content, like Icecrown Citadel, Trial of the Grand Crusader, Ulduar, Bastion of Twilight, Blackwing Decent, etc. Which being on Illidan certainly does help this, but, keeping it in guild is always nice.

Raid times:
(Team 1) Saturday & Sunday 10:00 - 2:00 PM CST (Server)

Voice communication: Mumble
Loot: Loot Council
Attendance: 90% or greater, a 10 man scene requires good attendance.
Application Process: Submit an application on our website with the raid team you are applying for, and if we are interested we will contact you to set up a Mumble interview. A decision will be made shortly after the interview.
