o Positive attitude - Officers are expected to have a positive attitude in guild chat and with the Guild Members. Doubts and concerns may be expressed in officer chat or through the correct communication channels (e.g. forums).
o Officers are role models for the new and younger members of the guild. Officers should act as we would like all Guild Members to act.
o Abuse of the officers’ powers is not permitted. If you feel an officer is abusing their power, please inform the Guild Master.
To be promoted to the rank of Officer you must be nominated by an Officer and then seconded by another Officer. This will initiate a vote, with the final decision to be made by the Guild master.

Ranks
Guild Master
The rank of Guild Master contains all of the rights and priviledges of an Officer. In addition, the Guild Master may veto any action put in place by officers. The Guild Master serves as long as he desires, and a successor will be named by all officers of the Guild only when the Guild Master has decided to resign. Note that while the Guild has no formal democratic structure, the Guild Masters and Officers will take the wishes of the members into account whenever possible. In any and all disputes, the Guild Master will have the final decision.

The Co-Leaders will setup, maintain, and leads the guild raids and events. Co-Leaders are expected to be respectful and helpful in the guild. Co-Leaders also have the right to enforce disciplinary action. They may kick members in extreme circumstances.

Recruitment
All members MUST read the guild charter. To apply simply follow the link on the main page, and follow the instructions.

Communication
We use Ventrilo so we can talk with other guild members while in game. This speeds up playing and increases the success of raiding. To use Ventrilo you need a headset with a decent microphone and the Ventrilo client which can be downloaded at www.ventrilo.com. The info for the Ventrilo server will be given to you in game.

This site contains a forum to be used to communicate with other guild members, Co-Leaders, and the guild master. Please use it to discuss game mechanics, add-ons, experiences, etc. Please check on it often. The address is: http://pacemparabellum.guildomatic.com/forums/.
Guild Bank

* Please only take items from the guild bank through requests to officers.
* If you receive a new piece of gear from a guild raid, we will help you out with gems and enchants.
* The guild will NOT pay for a re-specification of your character. Unless otherwise directed by the guild master.
* Please do not expect to receive items from the guild bank, if you do not contribute to it.

Guild Events

Guild events are defined as specific raids on the guild calendar in game. Please do not sign up for a guild event if you cannot attend. If there is a chance that you may not be present, please mark yourself as "tentative". We understand that obligations and events occur in real life that may keep you from attending an event you signed up for, when this does occur, please let an officer know via in-game mail, phone call/txt message, or on the forums here on the website.

Guild events on the in-game calendar will be setup by the Co-Leaders or guild master. Please check the in-game calendar often so that you can keep up with the events and raids that we put together.

Some of the current ongoing events are:

* Vanilla Night - Doing old world raids and instances for rare items and reputation gains. Sundays from 8pm Server.
* Ruby Sanctum - Blizzard's latest raid instance. Tuesdays or Wednesdays starting at 8:30pm Server.
* Icecrown Citadel 10 man - Current main progression raid in both Normal and Hard Mode flavors. Tuesdays or Wednesdays starting at 8:30pm Server.
* Icecrown Citadel 25 man - Current bi-monthly or enough ppl are on raid. Wednesdays or Thursdays starting at 8:30pm Server.
* Alt Raids - These include Trial of the Crusader, Icecrown Citadel, Onyxia, and others for gearing up alts. All are welcome. Fridays and Saturdays as demand dictates.

Raids
Raids will be posted on the in-game guild calendar, and will hopefully posted by midnight Sunday/Monday. Please use the forum to request changes to the schedule prior to Sunday's Vanilla Night. Co-Leaders and the guild master will discuss the upcoming week and set the events during this time.

Goals

o Our number one goal is to have a fun and drama free time. Please keep a positive attitude even if we wipe a few times. Not everyone knows every fight like the back of their hand.
o We plan to clear end-game content and experience everything that is offered in the World......of Warcraft.
o When possible given the skill, time, and dedication of the group, earn as many of the possible achievements.

Requirements

o Please be on time and ready to go at the scheduled time of the raid. If possible please be early as it will be treated in most cases as first come, first served. If you will be late, please let an officer know ahead of time.
o On guild runs, the guild will assist with consumables (flasks, feasts, potions, etc.) however these are not an endless supply, please plan to bring a few of your own.
o Gold for repairs, while you should be earning more money in a raid, events do happen that may make a raid a loss. There should be no reason why a raid member cannot afford repairs.
o Ventrilo for communication. This is a requirement for raiders who wish to receive loot.
o Addons. Some raids may require raid members to have an updated addons in some situations. A list of addons can be found on the forums.
o A positive, open, and fun attitude.

Invites
o Invites will start 30 minutes prior to the event.
o If you can make the event ON TIME, please accept the event.
o If you will be late to an event (up to 20 minutes maximum), please inform an officer as soon as possible.
o Positions in the raid will be treated by first event status (Accepted, Tentative), then by first come first served. Please try to be early.
o If a raider did not sign up for an event, but is present and able to, efforts will be made to include that raider if possible.
o Late or unexpected raiders will be placed on a wait-list and be pulled from first if someone in the raid have to leave or disconnects for more than 5 minutes.
o If a member can not make the raid they need to "Decline" the invite.

Loot
o Currently we used a free roll system.
o Loot that will be used on a main specification will be rolled out of 1000. "/roll 1000"
o Loot that will be used on a off specification or sold will be rolled out of 100 at the same time. "/roll 100"
o If no one needs or wants a piece of loot, it will be disenchanted if possible and placed in the guild bank.

Dual-spec
o Please make sure that the note on your toon contains indications of your main and off spec.
o During the course of a raid, you may be asked to switch your spec by the raid leader. Please do not argue when a decision is made to use you in a different role than you intended.
o If you are raiding in your off spec for the benefit of the raid, you may continue to roll out of 1000 for your main spec that you are not currently in.

Alts
o Depending on raid composition and content, you may be asked to participate on an alt.
o If a piece of BoE (Binds on Equip) loot drops that you need on your main character, please inform the raid leader openly in raid chat, and you will be allowed to roll appropriately based on spec for that loot.

Guildlines

Behavior
o It is expected that members treat each other with respect. And further that guild members maintain an open, fun and positive mindset.
o Bad language is tolerated, but if taken to excess or if a guild member complains, the offenders will be asked to moderate their language. Continued excessive swearing can ultimately lead to disciplinary action. Also bear in mind that our members come from different backgrounds and all ages, races, sexes, and religions.
o Cooperation is something we will continually pursue. It is not expected that higher level characters give up too much time to help out the lower level characters; however, help is always appreciated and reciprocated.
o Ventrilo falls under this jurisdiction as well. No phonetics that are intended to annoy. Any uncalled-for phonetic will be banned from vent.
o As our guild master puts it, you are not a significant and special snowflake. Members who act and treat others with an elitist attitude will not be tolerated, and may lead to disciplinary action.

Instances
o It is expected that all members of a party involving Guild Members behave in the spirit of the guild.
o Loot rules must be established before the group gets involved in the coming adventure. Examples of Looting Systems are: Need before Greed, Roll on BoE, Pass on BoP, Gentleman's Rule, etc. Please discuss the matter beforehand if there is the intention to use a “non-standard” system.
o Members are expected not to pick unnecessary fights with people from outside the Guild. However, should the behavior of an external person in a party/raid be utterly intolerable (e.g. ninja-looting, verbal abuse), all members are encouraged to stick together, and, if appropriate, to warn the Guild as a whole against these persons.

Resources
o Items can be made available to the Guild under terms that the item owner deems fair and can be negotiated between members as they see fit. If necessary an Officer or GM can join in the negotiations on a channel to ensure that things stay fair. If especially rare or epic items are found, members are encouraged to first find a potential recipient/buyer among our own members.
o There is no reason why trading for profit amongst Guild members can not happen, just be fair about things with each other. Tradeskill items which can be made without a cooldown should be traded at cost or some other discounted value; if the materials are supplied, the item will be free. Members are encouraged, but certainly not obligated, to share looted items of relatively modest value (trade-goods, green items) for free.
o If you have become the owner of an item through an in-guild event/raid (BoE Items from Naxx for example), this does not give you the right to use it as you wish. If you say you will use an item, then sell it at the AH immediately afterwards will be considered a serious breach of this policy.
Disputes and Arguments between Members

o We are all human and we will, at some point, disagree with each other. All arguments should be handled discretely. This means no spamming guild with insults, accusations etc. All arguments should be taking to private channels (email, PM's, /w, /p) as soon as possible.
o If a problem can not be resolved please bring it to the attention of the appropriate GM or Officers as soon as possible.
o Under no circumstances are arguments to be carried on using the Forums. This causes more problems between Members and makes the Guild look bad. The same rule applies on IRC, Ventrilo or Teamspeak or any other place where the disagreement can be viewed publicly.
o The GM and officers have the final word in any dispute between Members.

Sanctions

We are not a guild that wants to police its members. We hope to use this section only rarely, but any breach can be reported to the Guild Master and/or Officers who will deal with the matter.

* The Officers are responsible for deciding how to deal with Members who break Charter rules.
* Officers have complete freedom of action and can warn, demote or remove Members as they see fit. Immediate removal from the Guild will only occur in the gravest of circumstances. If possible, the breaches should be discussed by several Officers before the more severe measures of demotion or removal are taken.
* Breaches by initiates will face a lower level of tolerance than those of full members; they may be removed without consultation if their actions make clear they don’t share the general guild spirit.
* If problems are related to an item, the class of an item (rare, epic) will be taken into account.
* The Guild Officers have the right to use their judgement concerning anything that is not covered in this policy.
* As before, the Guild Master has the final say. An Officer is not allowed to deviate from this policy or enforce rules not explicitly mentioned herein without consulting the Guild Master first, except under extreme circumstances.

Amendments

* The Guild reserves the right to change the contents of the Charter at anytime it is deemed necessary to do so. Agreement between the Officers and Guild Master is sufficient for such changes.
