Guild Profile

Primary Language: English
Raids per week: unknown
Recruiting (outdated): closed
We are a guild of mostly working adults, who very much enjoy raiding. We raid approx. 3 hours a night, 3 nights a week (Mon./Wed./Fri.). Due to our limited raid times, we do our best to keep up with content through a very tight knit, hard working, high attendance team.

To become a part of that team, we would have the same expectations of you as we do the rest of our teammates:
--We ask that you be able to attend all three of our raid nights. If you have something that would make you unavailable for one or more of our raid times, please note that in the application. (Of course, RL comes first, and occasionally something may come up that causes you to be unable to attend. We understand so long as it is just that, occasional).
--We ask that you know your class, adapt to new situations well, and learn quickly. Farm content only becomes farm content by learning new encounters. If you aren't willing to put in the time to learn how to best gem your gear or spec appropriately for your role, then you're wasting the time of your teammates.
--Come prepared with everything you need to raid, and prepared to work hard. Wasting the time of your teammates is not an option, we simply don't raid enough hours to screw up time and time again.
--Respect your teammates, your guildies, and others on the server. That includes holding back those stupid comments that you want to make in trade or general chat. No reason to encourage those of lower IQ than you, fuel the flames nor feed the trolls.
To recap, we look for exceptional players who can commit to our schedule, know their class and play it well, show up prepared, and give 110% every raid night. And if you can't show others the respect they deserve, don't even bother applying.

Lastly, once in DT, you are considered family. Our member retention is high enough, that we rarely recruit outside of RL friends and family. Most of our members have been in the guild for years now.
Becoming a member isn't always simple. Our application/recruitment process can be long and/or difficult. Being a member of Divine Twilight simply isn't for everyone.

If you think it's for you, then read on. :)
Below is a list of general expectations and various explanations of guild workings for the application process.

****Guidelines****
Please note, we recruit the PLAYER... NOT the CHARACTER. If you join DT, we ask that all of your characters become members of DT as well. We do this to avoid conflicts of interest.

1.) We frown on "ur u" and general idiotic spelling. Take the extra 30 seconds to use whole words, and your application will go farther. We aren't spelling nazis, but we do like people who seem to actually care about how their app looks.

2.) Be ready to run some raids with our groups. We will likely run a bunch with you before even putting you on trial. Don't suck or half ass them, they will be a factor regarding the application process

3.) Introduce yourself to members, and attempt to get groups with members.. People within the guild knowing you and enjoying your company will go farther then the best gear or app will.

4.) Know your class. If your talent spec looks like it was randomly chosen by a 3 year old, you probably won't get in. If you have a weird spec, and with it a good explanation however, make sure to mention it on your application... What I am getting at is simple, if you make choices about your character, have reasons behind making them, let us know that you know how to play.

5.) If even *one* person in the guild doesn't like you or has had a bad experience with you, you won't get in, simple as that. Yes, each member really does hold that kind of weight.

6.) Follow up on your app, sending an officer a tell asking about the status of your app shows us you're serious. However, bugging us every day will piss us off. Show interest in moderation and it will be good for all. :)

7.) Enjoy playing the aspect of the class that you apply for.. If you apply as a healing priest and don't enjoy healing, then *do not* apply as a healer. Nothing sucks more then finding out someone hates what they play. We want you to enjoy the game :P

8.) Be able to make raid times. 90% of apps fail because they can't make raids.. We only raid 3 nights a week, its not difficult for even the busiest person to make them. If you can't make them, then don't apply.

Thank you!

Please keep in mind we do not usually actively recruit; we much prefer to invite close friends into the guild. However in the event a position opens up, we will use applications to fill that spot.
