“unemployed” Guild

Unemployed is a new weekday daytime raiding guild for legion. Most of us work night shifts, or from home with a flexible schedule and are able to raid during the day. We're adults, parents, college students, fairly mature, and like to have a good time killing bosses. We're all very competent raiders, most of us having finished off every tier of WoD with cutting edge achievements. We recognize that mechanically, this game is exceptionally easy, and that much of the cutting edge progression in this game comes from extreme min maxing and gear farming, not insane skill levels.

Our goals are to be have a good time raiding together, and to complete all of our mythic raids in a timely fashion with cutting edge. We're not out to be a world 1st guild, but we are out to use our time efficiently and address problems and issues immediately and on the spot in order to push progression. Nobody has fun on a boss that should take 60 pulls and instead takes 300 because problems don't go addressed, and part of that is some give and take with our players. We do have raid leaders and officers, but raiders are encouraged to speak up if they have an idea for a strat improvement or adjustment.

We're looking for players who can play their class reliably while excelling at mechanics. We're less interested in ranks than we are with players who manage to take no avoidable damage and do consistent dps. We're a pretty fun group, and everybody jives pretty well together, so if you're into cliques and toxicity this probably isn't the place. Players are encouraged to participate with everybody else, from mythic + to raiding. Laughter, drinking, and jokes will be a regular part of raiding, although when it interferes focusing on a particular boss or mechanic takes precedence.

Right now we're pretty melee heavy, but while we're not actively seeking out melee, if you're really good there's always room to earn a spot, no application will be declined because of class. However, you have a better chance if you're ranged.
