Devierum is the #1 10-man raiding guild on Malfurion. After maintaining our #1 status carried over from both Sunwell (KJ Pre-Nerf) and the earlier tiers of WotLK, we took a break from raiding shortly before the release of Icecrown Citadel. We returned shortly before the release of Cataclysm to conquer ICC and now focus entirely on 10-man raid content in Cataclysm!

We are currently 12/12 in Normal Cataclysm progression!

We have a committed core of players and we are always looking for those who are skilled, dedicated, and compatible to join us in raids. If you are interested in joining us in our fight to push the leading edge of content and achievements please read on and fill out an application.

Oh, and we offer FREE REPAIRS AND ENCHANTS!

Raiding Schedule

Tuesday: 8:00pm - 11:00+
Wednesday: 8:00pm - 11:00+
Thursday: 8:00pm - 11:00+
Sunday: 8:00pm - 11:00+
Monday: 8:00-11:00+

Requirements for Membership

1.) Full knowledge of the class and spec you are applying as. We are not interested in educating people how to play, if you are not confident in your ability to do what your spec and class is intended for in our raids, please save us both time and apply when you have the confidence.

2.) Gear consistent with top tiered content. Your gear is not only a reflection of your experience but also your knowledge and skill. Unenchanted/Ungemed items or items with poor enchant/gem decisions are a first impression you don't want to make.

3.) We expect you to have knowledge of most encounters in an instance before coming to the raid. Although our strategies for bosses may be unique or unorthodox you can get a working idea of the mechanics of every fight via our forums or others.

4.) You must have a computer that allows you to perform well in a raid environment and a stable internet connection. If you DC all night long or consistently get unplayable lag on raids, do not bother wasting our time and yours.

5.) Be mature and not easily offended. Off-color comments are thrown around a great deal on vent. If you have sensitive ears this is not the place for you.

6.) You must have two characters which are raid-ready - one main and one alternate. Alternate toons are used to fill gaps in the primary group in the event of core absences. As raid content becomes more and more farm status, we will continue to use the full weeks' raid schedule to run two full raid groups to ensure that both sets of characters maintain current gear.

If you are self-motivated, have a serious attitude about the game, would like to raid to progress, have no problem with consumables, and are a reliable raider - we'd love to have you. Please put some effort into your application, having one word answers to each question only shows how little interest you have for joining.

With that being said, if you believe we are what you're looking for, then feel free to visit our website for additional information. If you have further questions or would like to discuss our recruitment process, create a character on Malfurion and get in touch with Bajingobomb, Phailius, Rsr, or Ushikawa.

Application Process

**IMPORTANT** Before posting an application, you MUST read the introductory post Things To Know When Posting An Application. Failure to do so will be easily noted and may result in termination of your application.

Copy and paste the application form in that post into a new thread. The title of the thread should be [Character's Name] - [Character's Class] - [Spec Description]. The body of the application should be the application form below completed with all of your information. Please don't create your own form, use the one that is being provided for you. Please do not leave information blank. These are not optional questions.

Once your application is posted, check back regularly as our members may post questions/comments. We encourage you to engage in discussion with them regarding your application.

You should expect to hear from an officer within a few days of posting your app. We may ask you to be a guest on a couple of raids to determine whether or not you are a good fit for the guild. If we accept your application, you'll be invited Devierum as an Applicant. If you are a transfer, you will not be required to guest and will join the Devierum as soon as possible upon your arrival on the server. You will then begin an application period of unspecified length. At any given point in time, you may be competing against another person of the same class in the app guild for a member slot.

While you are an applicant, under any situation, we will try to get you into as many raids as possible, but members will always have priority on raid slots and there may be times where a member may agree to sit out for you if you need something from a particular encounter - but it is their choice to do so. If you are an applicant, you agree to this fact.

During your application period, you should try to run instances, pvp and generally try to spend time with as many members as possible. Joining vent on non raid times is also highly recommended. This is not a popularity contest, but it will enable the members of the guild to get to know you.

Your application period may be terminated at any time without a member vote if we do not feel that you are a good fit for the guild. If you are extended an invitation to join Devierum, you will join as a full member with all of the privileges of any other member of the guild.

Your application period will last anywhere between 2 weeks to a month. You will be promoted if/when the members of the guild determine that you are deserving of the spot.

Loot

Devierum uses a loot council to distribute loot. As an applicant, you are not eligible for loot on any normally scheduled raid night unless no member wants a particular item. We encourage you to ask for the item so that we get all requests at one time, but you will never receive an item if a member wants it as an upgrade.
