“Occams Razor” Guild

Occam's Razor is one of the oldest active raiding guilds on the Nathrezim realm, formed on June 6, 2006.

At the time Occam's Razor was formed, the goal was to be different than other guilds. Instead of being another hardcore guild that raided a lot each week whenever people were available, we wanted things to be well organized and more mindful of the fact that people may actually want to do something that is NOT centered around the World of Warcraft.Today, Occam's Razor strives to keep this same idea in mind.

One of the current goals that Occam's Razor strives to bring together players that will help each other out while helping with guild progression as a whole instead of just focussing on their own progression solely. With World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, this makes this focus a more tangible goal given that expansion has added a larger focus on doing things as a guild.

We believe that as we strive to help each other out, we will go far as a guild. That as we have fun playing the game, taking time to buckle down and be serious when it's necessary, we will progress. We play World of Warcraft to have fun. Occam's Razor helps us to enjoy the game while accomplishing our endgame goals.

Occam's Razor has three official raid nights that start and end at a set time so that our members can plan their schedules accordingly. Our official raid schedule is as follows:

Wednesday 6:30 - 9:00 Server Time (MST)
Sunday 6:30 - 9:00 Server Time (MST)
Monday 6:30 - 9:00 Server Time (MST)

NOTE: Raid invites start 15 minutes prior to official raid times.

All applications are private and can only be seen by the person submitting the application and members of our guild. We are currently accepting all applicants that we believe will be a good fit within our guild. Please note that raiding spots are limited. As a result, some applicants interested in raiding may not be able to get a primary raiding spot unless we form additional raid groups.
