About Prominence:
Prominence is a 25 man Semi-Hardcore progression guild established on Dragonmaw in 2005, and we’ve xfer'd to Ner'Zhul just before Dragon Soul's release. We are a strongly motivated, tightly knit guild who’s been at the forefront of Dragonmaw’s progression since the beginning of WoW. Prominence has made a name for itself as the top guild on the Dragonmaw server and a competitor for one of the top 300 guilds in the world! We take pride in our commitment and stability which has been the baseline of our progression since we began raiding! We have numerous server firsts throughout every expansion and have consistently been amongst the top 300 guilds in the world and top 100 in the US for downing bosses and grabbing those achievements!

Our Players:
Our raiders are amongst the best players on this server. Some of the most motivated, stable, and consistent players on this server, and it will continue to be this way for as long as this game is still available. Our players are passionate about raiding and studying every end of their class and character. But were not hardcore all the time! We do a lot of things outside of raids as well! We play together on Steam/Origin, we have played numerous MMO’s together and like to get together for festivities such as Blizzcon/Comicon etc.

What we expect from you:

Attendance:
During progress our raiding schedule is demanding and it is important you understand this. Our progress raids - that you will be expected to attend - can start very early in the day and end late at night. You must be prepared to sacrifice any real life activities in order to ensure attendance. Once current content is cleared we revert back to a more relaxed raid setting.

Dedication/Performance:
You must possess a positive attitude towards raiding, especially when it comes to progression raiding. As your performance does affect your chances of loot, you should be prepared to do everything it takes to maximize your characters effectiveness on the encounter(s). During progression raids you need to be fully awake and focused - trying to understand and offer feedback in regards to the encounter via Mumble, in-game, or on the forums. You must be mature and able to handle any criticism directed your way.

Communication:
World of Warcraft is a team game and communication during a raid encounter is often very important. All players must have a working mic and must be willing to use it. You will be required to use Mumble during raids and should be able to write/speak/understand English to a reasonable level.

If you think you have the talent and dedication to play amongst the best of this server, then Prominence is the place for you! You will start as a trial for about 2-4 weeks depending on performance. We will not hesitate to replace any existing member with you if you prove better. So if you think you're ready, go ahead and apply!
