About Us:

G'day all. The War Machine is an Aussie based raiding guild focused on fun and progression. We are currently progressing through Dragon Soul and are 4/8 25man after the first night of raiding. We formed up at the tail end of BC running ZA and farming War Bears for the guild, since then we've done the same in Ulduar, Icecrown and Firelands. We'll be continuing the trend in Dragon Soul.

We used to run 2x10man teams in Firelands with both progressing to 6/7Heroic modes. But with the recent influx of raiders we've decided to shift to a strong 25man team. After our first night of 25man's we we're 4/8. We run 3 progression based nights - WED, SUN + MON with THUR being an offnight for a quick guild Looking for Raid group.

While we like to have fun and progress, noone likes to carry anyone. If someone in the raid isn't performing we simply sub them out rather than beat our heads against a wall. This also creates a good competitive environment and cuts out mediocrity.

Raid Progression:
T13:
Dragon Soul: 8/8 Normal 25

T12:
Firelands: 7/7 Normal 10 & 25, 6/7 HM x 2-10mans

Raid Times & Attendance:

We raid Wednesday, Thursday(optional), Sunday and Monday nights from 8:30pm - 11:30pm AEST or 1:30am - 4:30am Server Time. We request that you attend / be available for at least 2 nights for a reserve raider position and 3 nights for a core raider position. We sometimes organize off night progression runs on a Thursday or Friday night for older content, specific gear upgrades and titles but they are optional.

Requirements:

Gear is not overly important but a good attitude to progression and your fellow guildies is a must! If you're 372ilvl geared (which can be easily obtained from justice points and the 3 new 5mans) but are are a skilled player, we are prepared to give you a go.

Be able to listen in on raid chatter. You don't have to speak although we prefer if you do for Heroic mode raiding. We use Teamspeak 3 rather than Vent or Mumble as its far more feature packed now and we have our own dedicated server running from our website so there's next to no lag if you live in Australia.
