HoC desires a roster of intelligent, respectful, and low drama players. We have a casual environment in vent, raid, and guild chat. We harass our members quite often and expect all members to be able to give and take some harassment. All members should have the understanding that the GM respects and listens to everyone's opinion but his say is final.
As a raider, you must have the desire to be the best at your specific role. Members must be willing to put the time in with research for their class and the fights. Members should be excited about building a serious raiding guild even if we are not able to raid 3-4 days a week. We take raiding seriously in the sense that everyone is expected to perform their role well, and to be constantly improving. Raiders who are not able to take constructive criticism about their spec, gem choices, talent choices, spell/ability usage, etc need not apply. You MUST be willing to do what it takes to help the raid succeed.

Our Progression and Raid Schedule:

We are currently doing all 10 man normals, 10 man heroic modes, and hope to begin 25 mans asap. We will raid primarily on the weekends. We currently raid on Sun. nights 7 pm - 10 pm server. We hope to add another day quickly. We are a home for raiders who want serious progression effort but can't give 3-4 days a week to WoW.

When we are recruiting:

We are mainly seeking players of college age and above. We want self motivated players, who are willing to help build a solid core of raiders. Keep in mind guilds such as Eternal and LOD worked hard to be what they are today. We are not looking to quite devote enough to time compete for server firsts but we will see all content! If you feel that this is the kind of thing you want to be a part of fill out an application.
If an application and the answers you give to our questions are impressive we will invite you on a trial basis for 2-3 weeks. During which time you will be able to attend raids and interact with your potential guildmates. We take the opinions of our guild members very seriously, as it is important to us that we enjoy who we raid with. After your trial you will either be made a full member or be encouraged to find another raid group.
