“Distortional” Guild

<Distortional> is a Brand New 10-man raiding guild on the Horde faction of the Shattered Hand US server. With the approaching Cataclysm bringing changes to the raid format to make the content more flexible and accessible to everyone without people missing gear they would only get in 25's, this raid group is for those that would prefer a small, very focused and tight-knit raiding environment compared to a larger group. We are a stable, serious raiding group that is capable of clearing dungeon and raid content fast, placing us within the higher ranks for progression on the server for 10-man content after the release of the Cataclysm expansion. We are looking for dedicated members to continue finishing up Icecrown Citadel and to move into Cataclysm with the pedal to the metal, we are looking for people to step in and grab core raiding spots and not be sidelined. We would like to see people apply that is 12/12 ICC10 or atleast 6/12 HM’s ICC10, we r now recruting for a 2nd 10 man.

Listed below are the traits we are looking for in a potential team member:

˟ Maturity - We only recruit gamers that are 18 years of age or older. This team is for adults, and only for adults who can handle themselves in a mature manner and treat others with respect. This team is -not- for nerd ragers, or for those that need constant pampering and attention. We don't change diapers - we murder elites and have fun doing it.

˟ Skill - You should be confident in your game play ability. This means staying out of the fire and learning encounter mechanics ahead of time and committing them to memory.

˟ Transfer Ready - If you are not on the Shattered Hand US server, please have funds available to transfer if your application is accepted.

˟ Hardmode Ready - Content is not on farm after the boss at the end of the raid dies on normal mode, and we are not taking a break after Deathwing falls either. Hardmodes are what we will be after.

˟ Cataclysm Ready - Have an understanding of how World of Warcraft currently works, and be willing to learn about the changes in the upcoming expansion and how it will affect your game play.

˟ Dedicated to 10's - Be comfortable with the fact that this will never become a 25-man raid group. The 10-man format is set in stone from the beginning.

˟ Patience - If someone is holding the group back due to continual poor performance or missing raids, then be aware that their spot will not be filled with another poor player but one that will play better. Please be willing to stick it out.

˟ A Winning Attitude - Please have a game winning attitude. This means keeping your focus in and about the game, especially while raiding. Do not be a nerd-rager, ninja logger or a crybaby when it comes to loot.

˟ Hungry for Progression, Not for Loot - On the subject of loot, do NOT be greedy. Epics are a reward for winning, and should not be considered a crutch to prop oneself on.

˟ Reliable - As this is a small raid group, extremely high attendance is going to be required from all our potential raiders. Be sure you can and would want to raid during our posted raid times for the forseeable future, and be prepared with reagents/repair funds as well. If you can't make both days with a 90% attendance rate or higher, we are not the group for you.

★We raid from 7:30pm - 11pm EST Tuesday, Wednesday. Additional raids may happen on off nights, but those will remain optional.
