About Us

<Strife> is a new reform raiding guild on Skullcrusher that focuses on end-game PvE progression. The core members of our guild are members/officers from other guilds on our server with experience all throughout Icecrown Citadel up to and including Lich King on 10m and up to Sindragosa (11/12) on 25m. Unfortunately for us, many of the guilds on our realm are plagued with leadership and organizational issues that do not allow them to attain their raiding goals. As a result, Strife was born to rectify this problem and create an atmosphere for the progression minded raiding individual with two goals in mind. First, we want to see all of the available content the game currently has to offer in a timely manner. Second, we want to do so in a fun environment where like-minded people can socialize and have a good time together doing something we all love; raiding. Our goal is to create and foster a successful gaming community which will keep us around WoW and future games for a long time to come.

In a nutshell, the reason you should join our guild is "potential." We have the potential to a great performing guild, we have the dedicated leadership for the task, and we are looking for people with the same mindset that will allow us to get there.

Raid Schedule:

- Sunday: 7:30pm - 11:30pm
- Monday: 7:30pm - 11:30pm **Read Below**
- Tuesday: 7:30pm - 11:30pm
- Wednesday: Off (Optional 10m content)
- Thursday: 7:30pm - 11:30pm
- Friday: Off (Optional 10m content)
- Saturday: Off (Optional 10m content & Alt Raids)
Keep in mind that invites are 15 minutes prior to raid start times. This means if we are starting at 7:30 you are expected to be online and ready to accept an invite and go @ 7:15pm.

** Monday will NOT be a weekly thing. You need to be available to raid on Monday on the given times, however, it will be on a rotation basis. Some weeks we will raid on Monday to finish up content we are close on at the discretion of guild management and some weeks we will not.**

Expectations:
- You are expected to bring 110% to each and every raid.
- You are expected to keep up to date with changes to your class & the game.
- You are expected to research the Best in Slot items for your raiding spec.
- You are expected to research encounters and know your role in current raid content.
- You are expected to be correctly talent specced and have appropriate gear itemization.
- You are expected to have the ability to handle criticism and intelligently support/defend your choices & statements.
- You are expected to have a stable connection and a working PC that is able to support a 25-man environment without disconnecting/lagging.
- You are expected to maintain at least 80% attendance (90-100% preferred). Which basically means you can miss one raid every 2-3 weeks. Attendance is VERY important.
- You are expected to know your utility abilities and be ready to use them at the sacrifice of your personal DPS/Healing.

Loot:: Loot is handled via a silent bid DKP system. If you attend regularly you will get loot – it’s as simple as that. Members who do not perform will be swiftly demoted or removed, so you need not worry about those who do not deserve loot getting it. Everyone who gets something got it because they deserve it.
