“Redux” Guild

Redux is seeking exceptional raiders of all roles to round out our roster for upcoming hardmodes. We have remained server first on Spirestone and a competitive top 100 US progression guild throughout this last expansion while maintaining a light 3 day raiding week schedule. We plan to continue that success into this new expansion.

Currently, we are focused on recruiting players who possess the skill, determination, and attitude that will be required for Cataclysm Redux raiders. We are also focused on making a smooth transition into the expansion with new ideas for greater accomplishments.


Raid Times:

Tuesday - 8-12pm PST
Thursday - 8-12pm PST
Sunday - 8-12pm PST


What we expect from our raiders:

Commitment: Can you make our raid times? We only raid 3 nights a week. If any one of these days does not work for you, do not bother applying.

Knowledge: We're looking for players who stay up to date on not only all of their class changes and mechanics, but also the mechanics of raid encounters, other classes, and the game in general. Know the fights. Know how to min/max. Know how you should spec and gear for specific encounters. Know how to effectively play your offspec. While healthy theorycrafting amongst raiders is common and encouraged, we are not here to teach you basics.

Skill: Impress us. Show that you can consistently top the meters (when applicable). Show that you rarely make mistakes. Show us that you know how to min/max. Mediocre raiders are a dime a dozen. We're looking for the exceptional raiders.

Preparation: You show up to raid having thoroughly researched the encounters beforehand. With a light 3 day schedule, our raid time is precious and is not used to explain new encounters to anyone who is too lazy to read strategies and watch 15-30 minutes of video. Also, having a gathering profession maxed out as one or both of your professions does not count as being prepared.

Attitude: We want raiders who want to be here. We want raiders who are here to enjoy the game. We want raiders who are mindful, patient, and competitive. We don't want people who are just in this for the gear. Gear is not the ultimate goal. It's merely a tool for progression. We raid to down bosses, earn achievements, and have fun doing it in an effecient manner. We keep our guild drama to a minimum. Divas, malcontents, and carry gf's need not apply.
