“Marauders” Guild

Guild Environment:
<Marauders> is a medley of individuals who share a common goal/interest; that is to engage with and destroy World of Warcraft endgame content. We have a strong raiding core that strives to combine high standards of play with a progression-minded raid environment. However, when progression encounters increase in difficulty and patience wears thin, we try to keep levity in our raids. We also designed our raiding schedule to allow for players to successfully maintain their commitment to the raid while preserving plenty of time for other endgame activities (e.g. M+, PvP, etc.) and in their lives writ large. We achieve low raider turnover by instituting and maintaining an environment and community that people enjoy.

- Please be aware that we are progression minded; that is our number one focus. If you are not okay with sitting when needed (class stacking, specific class limitations, gearing, etc.) then this isn't the group for you. If you want to sight see, there are plenty of other groups willing to carry you along.

- That said, we are a mature group of people who share a remarkable level of camaraderie, and we sincerely enjoy accomplishing our goals with each other. The majority of the raiding group is frequently online doing daily chores, running mythic dungeons, leveling alts, doing alt runs, etc.


Guild History:
<Marauders> was formerly <Light of Dawn>, which was founded 5/1/2018, and maintained a consistent position as a top 10 raiding guild on the humble, low population servers Arygos/Llane-US. Essentially, we were one of a few big fish in a very small pond. During March 2021, in order to pursue higher difficulty content with a more robust player base, the core raiders voted to transfer and faction change the guild. We selected Stormrage-US due to the exceptional server history and communities therein.

Looking back to shortly after original formation during May 2018, we had a small membership, but began casual raiding toward the end of Legion. We added exceptional players during Antorus progression, and cleared normal, which, at the time, was more than we set out to achieve. We added a significant amount of strength during the lead up to Battle for Azeroth, primarily via addition of even more exceptional players, and an increase in raiding hours. Throughout our first two years, we rapidly evolved from a collection of likable misfits, into a consistently top three (3) Horde raiding guild on Arygos/Llane.
