Recruiting (outdated):
all classes
We are looking to add 2-3 new raiders to our roster to begin the next tier of raid content. We are 7/7 on heroic Tier 12 raid content, and have gotten server first kills on all heroic final bosses in Cataclysm. We regularly lead the server in heroic raid progression.

However, unlike our past recruitment efforts, this time we are opening things up to ANY class/spec. We are interested in adding the best raiders possible to our roster, and don't want to discourage anyone from expressing their interest in joining us. Aside from the typical expectations on performance that one would expect from a guild such as ours(e.g. being excellent at your class), you MUST:

- Be financially stable. If you can't afford to upgrade your computer, or repair a busted video card, or purchase a headset, or renew your game time month-to-month, then it is just a matter of time before you don't show up to a raid when we need you.

- Be willing to share your contact information (e.g. phone #) with a fellow raider. We expect everyone to be online for every raid. When you can't, we need to know about it. We frequently text each other so that the guild knows what to expect.

- Have a positive attitude, even in the face of criticism. I can almost guarantee that you will be targeted with direct criticism during a raid at some point with us. You need to be willing to acknowledge your mistakes, and immediately grow from them, without losing your temper. If your first instinct is always to deflect blame to someone else, or blame your mistake on lag, or start yelling about how great you are, you won't last long with us. We firmly believe that all mistakes are preventable by the player, with adequate forethought.

- Understand that the guild is more important that any one raider. No one has a guaranteed raid spot. We build our raid from night to night, from fight to fight, based on what is best for the guild. Gearing up everybody at an even pace is best for the guild in some instances. In others, it's best to stick with the same 10 raiders until we secure a progression kill. You need to be cool with being on the bench for a while if that's what it takes for us to progress. On a future boss, you will likely be a part of the progression team. I have numerous stories of how this has worked great with our current raiders.

- Be in this for the long haul. If you frequently get bored of WoW and quit for a few months, we don't want you. Our raiders are all long-time players; many were part of server first kills in the original game back in 2005. We want more of those sorts in our roster.

- Be flexible in how you play. We may ask you to fill a role in a fight that is not ideal for your class, but you may be our best option. You need to rise to the occasion and excel. If your class can fill multiple roles, you should be competent and prepared to play at least 2 of those roles at any point. If you are a tank class who is only willing to tank, you won't give us the sort of flexibility that we want.

We raid M-Th from 7:45pm - 11:00pm server time. If you are interested in <Ruthless>, think you have what we are looking for, and are able to raid when we raid, please visit our recruitment website recruit.ruthless-guild.com and follow the directions for submitting an application.

Please, do not hesitate to contact Wintrow in game with any questions. Parallax would be an alternate contact. We hope to hear from you soon.
