About Us:
ELvN is an elite 10 man heroic raiding guild. We raid Tues, Thurs, and Sunday at 8 server. We strive for a progressive, open-minded, raid style that gets results; while still providing an enjoyable atmosphere.
We run multiple 10 man groups that are completely separate and autonomous from one another. Our first raid is lead by Fedoranos. We are currently progressiong through heroics. Our other raid is lead by Kremus. Please contact him for his raid group's recruitment.
Expected Raider Qualities:
(While experience and gear are important they don’t trump these qualities.)
A Great Attitude: Players here need to have a positive, constructive attitude. People with overly negative attitudes can seek a guild elsewhere. We strive to have players that can separate real life frustrations from the game.
A Progressive Heroic Raiding Mentality: Raiding at a higher level requires a different mind set. With a progressive heroic raiding world-view players are expected to: 1. Be aware of their surroundings and timers in a fight. 2. Research boss fight strategies. 3. Be knowledgeable about their class 4. Be knowledgeable on how to best manipulate their class to each particular fight. 5. Be able to take constructive criticism and help assess boss strategies. 6. Most importantly, the will to be here to down bosses as quickly as possible, not just to go through the motions and get gear.
Expected Raider Qualifications:
The Ability to Use Ventrilo: Vent is essential to quick communication during complicated boss encounters. It also helps builds our sense of environment and community.
Flexible Attendance: With progression as our sole motivation, sometimes we require our members to put in extra hours so that we can progress faster. Sometimes we pick up Monday as an extra raid date when it is needed. If you quiver in fear at the thought of extra hours then this isn’t the guild for you.
