Membership Requirements

Members are required to be level 65. Lower levels can be accepted but must be approved by officers.

We do not have any race or class requirements.

It is not unusual to contact your previous guild for information on your behavior, attitude, and actions. Your guild history is available online and is reviewed prior to accepting application within the guild. Remember, past behavior is the best indicator of future behavior. If you have anything that you would like to be shared with us, it is better if it is revealed by the applicant than the previous guild.

In the past, if a member has left the guild, it may be possible for them to return. Depending on the actions and behavior before the member departed will determine if the member is eligible to return. When a member is removed from the guild, the information is kept on record. We do not remove many members, so most likely the name will be remembered without records needing to be accessed. Please contact Vookta or Agronia and/or apply for membership on the guild Web site to start the process.

All new recruits have a four-week probationary period and in that time they should spend as much time as possible interacting with the guild, grouping with members, attending events/raids, being active in guild chat, etc. After the four weeks is up and the officers are satisfied that the person fits in with the guild, they are promoted to full member. There are cases where the probation period is extended or decreased at the officers' discretion based on comments from guild members. If there are still concerns over the suitability of a recruit at any point during their probationary period, they will be removed from the guild. Probationary members are not entitled to guild vault items.

Members and officers are removed from the guild once there is a 25-day or longer absence. If you will be away past that time, please request a note be made so your character(s) will not be removed via the form of a post on the forums and contacting an officer in-game.

All members are required to participate in the forums on a regular basis. It will be your responsibility to know the current guidelines. Nearly everything we do, expect from our members, and go by as a guild are listed here in the policy section. It is imperative that you visit the Web site and check it for changes, news, and revisions to any policies that we have. If you break a rule or act in a way that is prohibited by the rules via a policy change, you will be allowed no leniency as it was clearly posted and your responsibility to know them.

Likewise, on raids, it will be your responsibility to keep track of the raiding schedule. We do not, nor will we ever, require you to attend, however, we will not tolerate members logging on late and expecting to join the raid. The raid scheduling will be done through the Calendar section of the Web site. To be able to sign up for a raid via the Calendar, you will need to first be approved on the guild Web site and claim your character (please see the forum post named Claiming Characters on the Web Site and Signing Up For Raids on the Web Site). If it is still unclear, speak with an officer for clarification.

Members should constantly be checking and providing input to posts. Higher ranks require more constant access and input than the lower ranks. Input/approval/disapprovals are required from all officers in the officers' forums.

It is stressed that loot-oriented people will not enjoy life in bloodvendetta.
Member Behavior

Immature behavior from members on forums, guild chat, officer chat, raid chat, party chat, or any other part of the game will not be tolerated.

Typically the officers use a three-strike policy. officer discretion will be used.

It is not uncommon for members to forge friendships outside of the game. This behavior is encouraged and creates a stronger bond between members and officers. Many of our members (including some officers) use chat clients (including AIM, Yahoo!, Windows Live/MSN, and ICQ) to communicate when no logged into World of Warcraft.

No officers have the right to promote or suggest a promotion to their personal friends or significant others. This will not be tolerated. If any officers are found breaking this rule, they will no longer have promotion privileges and the member that was promoted will be returned to their previous rank. All promotions must be approved by multiple officers. We will not tolerate and cannot have favoritism between the members and/or officers in the guild.

The guild is its members. This means taking an active part in the guild, joining in events, grouping with other guildies on a fairly regular basis, helping others with quests, doing what the members can to help the guild as a whole. That does not exclude soloing, grouping with others, or not jumping in to help with every person who asks. It is about finding the right balance to benefit the member and the guild. Never forget, World of Warcraft is a game. Have fun and create moderate amounts of mayhem.

Never forget, the members carry the guild's name above their heads at all times. The members are expected to conduct themselves in a manner which will earn respect from fellow players, not contempt. Be polite, both to guild members and fellow gamers. Be a nice person—even if this means role-playing the entire time.

Any member who does not play within Blizzard's policies and guild rules will be removed from the guild, as this can damage a guild's reputation. Conversely, if another player acts poorly toward another player, then try politely asking them to stop or reach a compromise. If that does not work, speak with a guild officer.

Improper member behavior includes, but is not limited to:

1. Member bashing (includes humiliating, degrading, or deliberately offending another person).

2. Heckling your officers.

3. Ninja looting.

4. Need versus greed looting unless the other party members agree to certain items being needed.

5. Stealing kills.

6. Taking items given by guildies and putting it in the Auction House or reselling for profit.

7. Selling items to guildies. Typically items are given to the members. There should be nothing said in guild chat about wanting to sell an item. Leave the selling of items to the trade chat. Selling items, services, or anything else to other guild members is strictly prohibited. We are here to have fun, help each other out, and enjoy each other's company. If you wish to pay the person back, that is fine. If you work out arrangements to compensate someone that is also fine. But seeing something like "X for sale" is not permitted. Remember the more help you give the more help you will likely receive and the better friendships you will forge.

8. Begging is not permitted. It especially is not permitted outside of the guild. If you need something, simply ask another guild member and they will do their best to aid you. Begging is for money, items, or services (including assistance with quests or for rank). Asking is more than permitted; repeated asking will be deemed as begging and will be handled accordingly. If it is not immediately urgent, try the forums. For quest assistance, do some research, plan a date and time, and ask for help from people via a forum post or ask Vookta or Aggie to set up an event on the calendar. It is easier to help those who need help to help themselves in this respect.

9. Aid one another in endeavors that others need help with and more than likely they will aid you. This is not enforced unless it is part of your rank responsibilities. But, remember the golden rule. Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you. As well, if you assist someone, they will likely assist you in return and this only makes us, as a whole stronger, as well as aids you in obtaining the rights for trials into higher ranks. Those that are willing to assist will be looked on more favorably than those that do not assist. If you are caught milking the guild, that is to say, if you are caught asking for help constantly for anything and giving nothing in return, you will be deemed unfit for this guild. Be aware that if caught you will be given the opportunity to explain but if you are caught more than three times you will be removed, no questions asked.

It is your responsibility to keep track of the raiding schedule.

To fit the schedules of members, we have implemented an alternate raiding schedule. During one week, Karazhan is scheduled for 5 p.m. server time and scheduled for 6 p.m. server time the following week.

A message will be broadcast to the guild informing to whisper the raid leader for an invite. Invites will only be sent to those that have signed up on the guild Web site. If you wish to join, even if we have less then the required amount of players to start the raid, your signup will be required on the Web site before you can join the party. There will be no exception to this rule. Do not forget that a note can be added when signing up indicating the additional information.

If you are going to sign up, make sure you can attend the full intended raiding time, otherwise if you will need to leave early, you must advise the raid leader prior to starting the raid. If you do not, you will loose your spot on the next raid.

We now have more players that are geared enough to help participate in Karazhan runs. We must give everyone a chance to join; regardless of who they are or how more geared you are over them. We are a team and we shall assist and advance in progression as a team. When Zul'Aman is being raided, it will be specified for the elite raiding team; however, in Karazhan, we must step out to let the chance for others to play. There will be no exception to the rule, regardless of who you are or your role to the group. Everyone gets the chance to let others in, including the guild leader.

If more players sign up then we can use, we will go by order of signups. Please check your signup to make sure it says "Yes" for approved; otherwise, if it says "No," you might not be guaranteed a spot "such as too much melee," or to allow a different player the chance to join the raid.

Event organizers have the choice of needing an item for use for a special guild event.
Alternate Characters

All alternate characters should be linked to your main character. Each alternate character should have the main character's name in each of the alternate characters' notes. All members are required to provide their alternate characters' names to an online officer so they can update the notes. There should be absolutely no alternate characters in the guild without the main character's name included. The only instance is when your main character is not a member of the guild. We do not require you to have all your characters in the same guild. All alternates should be the in the Alt rank.
Disciplinary Actions

All disciplinary actions by officers (kicking, banning, demoting, etc.) are final.
Gaining Rank, Requirements, Responsibilities, and Permissions

At this time, the available officer ranks have been filled.

Many that have achieved higher ranks have worked hard to get where they are, lower ranks need to show respect to those higher up. One day you will be higher, and if a lower rank disrespects you, you would be upset, bare this in mind when dealing with folks who have attained a higher rank than you have. If you abuse your rank, permissions, or powers then you will be subject to demotion.

To gain rank, you will need to be demonstrating a want and ability to further the guild.

Those that do promote will be responsible for their promotions, in other words, if you promote people that are not doing their duties, that person and the person promoting may both be demoted.

If you are coming from another guild and obtained an officer rank, we may be able to "grandfather" you in to our guild. This decision will be made on a case-by-case basis. You may be subject to a two-week probationary period before gaining that rank depending on your performance, loyalty, and dedication to the guild.

Any member can nominate another member or themselves for a promotion. Please copy the Promotion Form located at Guild Information: Promotion Nominations and create a new post in the same topic with the character name of the person being nominated as the subject. Make sure to fill out as much information as possible. An officer will review this information and, if necessary, will consult with other officers. This is the preferred way for any member to receive a promotion. This will insure that there will be no favoritism and that all factors can be weighed prior to the promotion.

RAID Loot Rolls

All RAID loot will be rolled for Need on main specs that can use such item. If item is not needed by any player, it will then be rolled for off specs. If no offspec is needed, it can then be rolled for play (for shits & giggles to have the item). For last if nobody wishes to roll on the item, it will be disenchanted.

We know from time to time mistakes can be done, we are only human & the fact that the Need / Greed / Pass buttons are next to each other, but cronic mistakes will be considered as a ninja which we will not accept.
