Who we are:
The Blades are an on-line gaming community dedicated to fun, progression, and competitive game play. We hail from around the world and from all age groups. We are friends, neighbors, relatives and on-line acquaintances all with the common goal of maintaining a healthy and enjoyable gaming environment with people who are playful, mature, and dedicated to the long-term vitality of the Blades.
We were created on the PvP server Laughing Skull in Vanilla WoW by a group of close knit friends. The guild has survived guild splits and a server transfer to Winterhoof. From there we have evolved into one of the largest, most progressed guilds on the server in both 10 and 25 man content due to our great community and dedicated raiding team.

10 man Heroic ToC: 5/5
25 man Heroic ToC: 3/5
10 man Heroic ICC: 11/12
25 man Heroic ICC: 11/12
Our recruitment needs:
We are currently recruiting to solidify our 10 and 25 man roster as we push our way through heroic content. We are looking for players who fully understand their class and its mechanics. You must be able to compete with our best raiders both in raid awareness and performance. You must be able to maintain 90% attendance, accept criticism willingly, and be ready to rotate out for the benefit of the raid.
The Blades are a mature guild with most of our members being 20-30 years of age, therefore we require that our applicants be at least 16 to apply. Applicants younger than 16 will be declined.
All classes are currently open for recruitment with emphasis on tanks and healers.
Other information:
Our hardcore 10 man raid will be run on our regular raid times. We raid Tues/Wed/Thurs from 7pm – 11pm CST . The 25 man run will be held Fri/Sat/Sun from 7pm - 11pm CST. New recruits will likely find themselves in the 25 man run until we feel they are prepared for our 10 man group. Our goal is to create a solid 25 man base so that we might return the 25 man to our Tues/Wed/Thurs raid night.
All recruits must submit an application to our website at www.winterblades.net. Exceptional applicants will be discussed by the officers and if we are interested we will arrange a time for a vent interview. If the interview goes well you will be given a one month trial period where we will evaluate you as a member of our community. After one month, assuming that you are a good fit for the guild, you will be made a full member of Winter Blades.
