Team Goals:
Viper Squad aims to clear any raid released on the Heroic difficulty and to attain raid achievements for the raid tier. Once these are attained and the raid is on farm, the team will set aside a fixed number of weeks on progressing on Mythic 1 night/week for a set number of weeks if the team size and raid availability allows it at that time. Depending on the size of the instance and evaluations while progressing this will be around 8-12 weeks. Unless it is attainable in this timeframe, we do not aim to clear Mythic while it is current content.
Based on the difficulty of encounters, we might farm easy Mythic bosses while still progressing on Heroic.
How we roll:
We get through the content together, experiencing the fights as a team and having fun. Tactics will be shared by our raid leader during each progress fight.
We show up on time, we come specced for the fight, we use pots, flasks and food, and we give it our all, but we’re chilled about it. We don’t want to waste our time wiping needlessly, but we’re patient about screw ups as long as people own up so we know what to work on fixing.
Everyone is expected to have the best enchants and gems possible on their gear.
Concerning flasks and food, the guild(bank) will try and provide these (cauldrons/feasts) for every raid, whenever possible.
Raids are relaxed but Adept’s normal rules of etiquette apply. Using/following viper's Discord channeld, in case of e.g. signing out/away/bis list, is mandatory which saves every teammate’s time and effort at the end. The team runs at around 20-25 people, making use of flexible scaling so no one need to sit out until we venture into mythics.
We use RC loot-council addon to help us allocating tradable gear efficiently.
We are looking for raiders interested in regular raiding, with close to 100% attendance on above schedule. If you think you are better than others on the team, then prove it by carrying them, instead of giving negative remarks. We raid to have fun, so there is no room for constant negativity in our team.
About the guild Adept:
Adept, formerly on Draenor, has been kicking ass and taking names since November 2005 and we’re looking for some like-minded folk to join us as socials, raiders, and pvpers. We run a 20-man Mythic team and a 22-ish-man Social team on different nights. There's a weekly alt raid and early in the expansion we tend to do extra gearing runs too. Then there’s the random BGs, the dungeon running, challenge modes, the achievement grinds, all healing arena 3v3 teams, naked table dancing and anything else people feel like organizing.
