Recruiting (outdated):

Obsydian is what we think of as a "Casual Raiding Guild". By that,
we mean that "Casual" means that we have fun, we enjoy the game, we
don't shout at each other if something goes wrong, we don't beat
people up if they cant attend a raid and we don't all sit at the
stone for three hours before a raid to ensure we can kick off at
8pm prompt. By "Raiding Guild" we mean we take raiding seriously.
We bring our buff foods and pots, we know how to play our classes
and we know the basics of the boss before we take him on (The raid
leader will give specific tactics but we should all know what the
boss does). We don't /afk whenever we feel like it and we have
consideration for the other people in the raid.
We raid once a week- Sundays 8-11ST which is perfect if you have real life commitments and just want to see a bit more than LFR. Most of our members are older people with jobs and families and fit in WoW when they can. We raid normal/heroic content - we do what we can with one raid a week!
In short - we enjoy our raid and time with our WoW family - but we do it in a fun and mature manner.
