Welcome to <Convergence>
Hi All
<Convergence> is a raiding guild, looking to raid Mythic competitively in WoD on Alliance side, Frostmane.
We are currently progressing consistently and smoothly through Siege of Orgrimmar (Currently Normal10/14) and are looking ahead to the future where we hope to soon be tackling and progressing through the heroic encounters. To create synergy with the raid team, and also to promote progress and a serious raiding environment within the guild whilst maintaining the fantastic social air of the guild, we are treating the SoO the same as any current raiding guild despite being late to the table.
So what do we require from you as a raider to be considered for our roster?
Well there are the basics. Know your class, spec and role. This is expected of every raider, we are not here to tell you how to do this. If you cannot fulfil these basics then you will be replaced with someone who can.
Despite this, the heart of a strong raid team is a strong community. We want the atmosphere in the guild to be friendly, where everyone feels comfortable and are happy to socialize and help one another out, whilst coupled with making great progress through raids. This is what may separate us from other guilds that you are used to with a more militaristic atmosphere.
We also require that you can make all raid times, despite what your social situation may be. By which I mean, ensure that you are able to raid during our raid times regardless of external circumstances (special situations, and occasions naturally excluded).
Currently our raid times are as below (subject to change):
Monday: 20.30-23.00
Wednesday: 20.30-23.00
Thursday: 20.30-23.00
I expect these raid times to change come the expansion to accommodate more competitive progression.
If you would like to raid with us then here are the several ways in which you can do so:
On this site you can go through an in site application, after which I will whisper you for a short interview if you are to be considered as a candidate for our roster.
Else you can whisper me in game (Viktis).
If you are accepted into our ranks then you will be put on trial for approximately 2-3 weeks where your performance will be evaluated to see if we have a slot available for you in our raid team.
