Hello we are Valkyrie a Mythic raiding guild on Frostmane.
Current Progress: 2/7 Mythic High Maul
10/10 heroic Blackrock Foundry
Origins of Valkyrie
Valkyrie is a level 25 alliance guild on the server Frostmane EU. It was formed the 12th July 2009 on Azjol-Nerub by a group of experienced players looking to create a strong 25 man(now 20man) PVE raiding guild while maintaining a social atmosphere outside of raiding hours. In 2012 the guild moved to Frostmane looking for a more active 25-man raid community, since the move the guild has improved dramatically and is still improving every raiding tier, through recruitment of fresh blood.
Coming back from a raid break at the end of Mists we've decided to try be a little more serious and try not to waste as much time messing around, so we're actively trying to improve the roster overall. We don't want to be hardcore we just want 20+ people trying their best every raid that they attend. We want to grow better as a guild and not let individuals drag the majority down.
The things you're interested in
Raidtimes:
We raid 3 times a week. Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday 20-23 Server Time with raid invites starting 19.45.
Loot system:
We use loot council as we feel it gives us the best control over loot, we try our best to be unbias and take everyone into consideration.
Communication:
We communicate during raids (as well as outside raids) through our own Ventrilo channel as well as in-game specific role channels such as the tank and the healer channel. Whilst we don't require you to have a microphone or talk on Ventrilo we do very much prefer so if you could. Being able to listen is a must.
What we expect from you:
As an applicant and member we expect you to bring your character fully prepared from consumables to gear, good observation skills of your surrounding's along with good knowledge of boss tactics a stable internet connection and always wanting to better yourself as a player.
What you can expect from us
You can expect us to provide you with mythic raiding 4 times a week, mythic progression, terrible jokes and a friendly raiding atmosphere, we don't allow our members to call each other retards and the such like a lot of raiding guilds do, if your failing we'll mention it or swap you out but we wont start giving you abuse or offensive insults.
Guild Bank:
The guild bank is used to aid our members with repairs during progression as well as providing materials for some enchants to items obtained in our raids.
We're a friendly guild who strive to push progress, we expect our players to constantly try to improve there game, have stable internet/pcs that don't crash and have fun with us.
