<Shenanigans> was formed at the release of Cataclysm with the ambition of being a 10-man guild with good progression. It mainly consists of players who knew each other in advance, although we have also done some recruitment of new people during Cataclysm. We have a mixture of nationalities in the guild and expect every member to be able to read, write and speak English well.

Getting the right raiding team together took a bit of time which meant that we didn't start actively raiding until start of January 2011, but we have had good progress since then.

We enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with loads of friendly bashing, but doing raids focus on the progression is required and we don't tolerate people randomly going afk or stop listening on vent. We recover quickly from wipes, figure out what went wrong, adjust and go again.

We raid 4 days a week: Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday, Sunday from 19.00 to 23.00 server time, rest 20.00 to 23.00.
The raiding team in the guild is kept small to ensure we have most of the same people for each raid to aid our progression by not having to teach a bunch of new people the encounter we are progressing on each night. This also means that we expect our members to be available for raiding at least 3/4 times a week. With the size of our roster, we can also assure every raiding member of the guild a spot in the raid at least 3 times a week, while most members able to raid 4 times a week also get to do it.

For loot distribution we have recently switched from a DKP system based on raid attendace to a loot counsil consisting of the officers in the guild in order to maximize the the potential of our raid.

Communication is the key to many succesful kills and we encourage and expect members to call out on vent should anything unexpected occur, when a significant raid debuff is placed on you etc, while also knowing when to be quiet and listen to the raid leader.

Our members are of course expected to show up for raids on time, bringing their own consumables (although the guild usually provides feasts and cauldrons, missing the feast won't be an excuse for not having a food buff when we pull), be repaired and having gemmed, enchanted and reforged the gear appropriately.

We are currently looking to extend our roster with a single dps, preferably a warlock, but any exceptional application will be considered. If you feel you would be a great addition to our raiding team, don't hesitate to apply at http://shenanigans-outland.wowstead.com.

For more casual players that want to raid in an organized environment with friendly players, we also have a second raid group raiding twice a week with the ambition of seeing end game content without sacrificing too much free time.
Applications to this raiding team can also be posted at the aforementioned website.
