“Angelis Vindictae” Guild

Angelis Vindictae is a progression raid guild on Ravenholdt EU.

Our guild has a few ideals that we try our hardest to maintain:

1. We always push ourselves to be ready for the hardest progression.
2. We only want to raid with people who are helpful, superfriendly and fun. NO DRAMA EVER.*
3. We expect our raiders to be highly skilled and prepared for the challenges we face together.

It's hard to balance our ideals but we keep on doing it week after week and yes, sometimes in order to get the 'right' person who will fit in socially we compromise our progression at times but in the end, to us, it's worth it. ^^

* We have an age limit of 18 years of age. Our guild is currently ranged from 18-40ish with a high majority of members being in their 20's and we prefer members to be over 20. There are several reasons we enjoy raiding with older members and some of those are reliability, commitment, consideration, selflessness, no parental limits, life experience and understanding of others aswell as not having to censor what can sometimes turn into very silky chatting on Ventrilo. ^^

We raid Monday to Thursday from 19:20 to 22:30:

In order to facilitate people who want to enjoy the summer or are working part-time evenings now, we are giving our members and applicants three choices in how they can raid:

- Monday and Tuesdays - 25man nights.

- Wednesday and Thursdays - 10man nights.

- All four days which is preferred to optimise your gear and raid experience with the AV teams and we prefer applicants with this availability.

Members are required to be reliable and commited to the schedule they choose. We raid 3 hours per raid day which compared to most progression is a very short amount of time, however we believe that shorter raids make for more focused raids and in the long run prevent raider burn out.

What You Can Expect


If accepted you will be immersed into a english-speaking world full of culture with people from Europe, UK, USA and more which only adds to the variety of eclectic personalities which we cherish.

You will not find us agonising over realm rankings and creating pressure for our raid teams as we are comfortable with setting our own pace and goals with 'our kind' of people.

You can expect to be treated with the same respect as anyone else in the guild regardless of rank. If you are ever in need of advice you only need to take some time after raid when everyone is in the Lobby (on Vent) or guild chat to get it from members that are happy to help. After raids are a favourite time to bring up issues for member discussion and we take everything on board to make the best decision for the guild as a whole.

Our guild is led by a leadership who have real emotional ties to the success of the guild, who guarantee to you to give 100% effort every single moment of everyday, to ensure both our and your gaming enjoyment. We promise to you our members to put the guild first in every case and no personal ego or gain will ever get in the way of that.


What We Expect from Applicants


We expect applicants to take the time to read over all possible material available from our website where we have gone into details on expections and our philosophies. We don't see how you can apply to us without knowing what we are about and agreeing with it, knowing what you're getting yourself into and making sure we are the guild for you.

We require an online application and we expect a good amount of effort to be put into your application so that we can come to know the kind of person you are and if you would be right for us. If you are unsure of how to make a good application then we have provided a guide in the Application Forum called 'Application Expectations' which also includes a walk through of how to submit the application itself.

Aside from the basic preparations for raids (being ontime, consumables etc.) we expect that you'll have an advanced knowledge of your main spec and off spec both useful to raid the high content.

We expect that you'll want to be part of the social aspect of this guild, not just here for progression and loot. We are generally looking for long term members that want to keep improving in a supportive environment.

A good application will result in a Ventrilo interview and we value this aspect of the process as it allows us to get to know you and if you're likely to fit into our community.
