“Gothic Silence” Guild

Hello! Gothic Silence is a mostly casual guild situated on the Steamwheedle Cartel server group, that is currently looking to expand its raiding roster. Though we do welcome anyone wanting to join for the social aspect too!

Gothic Silence has primarily, through its history, been a casual guild that has had a strong leadership throughout its 7 years, and has mostly been a place for a good group of friends and like minded individuals to hang out and play together, whatever that content may be.

With Legion, we have put a slightly larger focus on our raiding, while maintaining our casual friendly atmosphere. The key point about raiding with us in Gothic Silence is that we are in it for a fun time, we will whole heartedly admit we are not the best players in the world, and we aren't trying to be, but we do try our hardest and bring our all. We also try out best to be as flexible as possible with our raiders, everyone has a life to attend to, and that's never an issue for our team. Some people can't make every raid and that's okay.

We also have over the years had raiders from other realms be a regular part of our team, without being in the guild, and this is also a perfectly acceptable thing for us. While we only have 1 or 2 people doing this at the moment, we have in the past had up to around 5 or 6 at any given time, with some moving to join us permanently on our server!

Our raiding structure and details:
We currently raid on Mondays and Wednesdays, with invites starting at 7:15 GMT, and we usually finish raiding at around 10-10:30 GMT, depending on how the evening goes.

Raiding Requirements:
Patience! As said above, we aren't pushing for big ranks, or for the highest numbers, or to be the best, we just want to clear content while it is current, and have fun while we do it. This means there will be wipes, sometimes frustratingly, but we still keep going despite this.

Willingness to learn. Some fights, people will have never seen before, and you need to learn what to do, fairly straight forward really. But above that, be willing to accept pointers from others, we're all in the same boat after all.

A Working microphone. If you plan to raid with us, a key aspect is to be able to communicate, and during a fight, the only way to do that, is to use your voice.

(This applies for both people who with to raid, and those who don't!) 18+. While I am sure some younger people out there might really welcome the casual atmosphere, and laid back attitude we have, this is unfortunately not the best suited guild for younger players.
