About Us
Bad Karma were formed in 2004 by ex-Everquest raiders and went on to play at a high level in many games. Over the years we not only dominated many PvP servers/games, ranging from small group PvP to leading alliances (Eve Online, Pirates of the Burning Sea, Warhammer Online, more) but we also obtained many Server, Europe and World firsts in PvE raiding (WoW, LOTRO, more).
After a brief second stint of WoW in 2011 we decided to split as a guild due to real life taking away our core of raiders, and frankly, being fed up of terrible MMOs. Now with WoW: Legion on the horizon, the guild core have come back together and Bad Karma have returned.
Our style is ‘hardcore casual’, that is to say we expect everyone to be on their game at all times when playing with us. We expect people to keep to scheduled raid times and commit to turning up as close to 100% of the time as possible so that we can maintain a solid force that works together as a close-knit team. However, we do not have a hectic schedule. We will raid 2-3 nights a week depending on the needs for progression. This method of highly focused, concentrated effort has in the past yielded us massive leaps in progression, keeping up with or overtaking progression guilds with 5-6 night a week schedules. It also makes us ideal for people who want to play a more serious and skilled game without the need to commit to a hardcore schedule.
