RiP Guild!
Tentation : a mode of adjusting or operating by successive steps, trials, or experiments

Guild Goals:

To form a highly competent raid group that is drama free and able to swiftly progress relevant content, pre-nerf, and obtain respectable realm and world rankings while maintaining a more sociable raiding timetable of 3 nights per week.

Raid Days and Times:

Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 19:30 server time until 23:30 server time.

Raider Expectations:

• To pro-actively research new raid encounters and ensure that all relevant mechanics are understood, with ideas for methods by which the raiders class can be used to counter specific mechanics.
  
• To help maintain a calm and enjoyable raiding atmosphere, by keeping cool during stressful situations and choosing not to rage on voice coms.
  
• To be online in game and on voice coms 15 minutes before raid times, with all required consumables in their backpacks.
  
• To be confident enough to speak to officers with problems or ask for help when needed, rather than keeping quiet and letting issues escalate.
  

Raids:

• Raid rosters will be decided by the raid leader. The raid leader is Kurosakí. Choices for who raids will depend on the following observations:
  
• Activity outside of raids and integration with other raiders on TS in spare time
  
• Dedication to character improvement outside of raids
  
• Raid preparation, in terms of boss research, consumable farming, etc.
  
• Raid attitude - keeping cool, suggesting strategy methods and helping others without rage.
  
• Raid performance - not repeatedly dying to avoidable mechanics, while dealing with all other mechanics and still producing a high level of output for your raid role.
  

Loot:

Loot will be distributed by a loot council. Decisions will be made using the above list of considerations.

Activity:

On such a short raiding timetable, we’d prefer it if everybody has 100% attendance. However, some real life issues can not be avoided. We therefore accept absences for:

• Personal Injury
  
• Family Emergency
  
• Job Interviews or job related problems.
  

Absences for parties or cinema visits, etc., are not acceptable.

Brief History:

The guild was originally created under the name Cadre on Twisting Nether, with aims the same as those described above. As a new guild, it took time to find the right players and mature as a group. The core of Tentation is this group (or at least those that we have chosen to keep). At the end of Throne of Thunder, a number of us moved to join Prime on Tarren Mill, Pieces on Grim Batol, Ascendance on Draenor and FatSharkYes… wherever they are. However, very late into Siege of Orgrimmar, we decided to reform, as 10 man and begin prep for WoD.

We will always take the best players over the strongest class, though it would be helpful if the best players also played the strongest classes - we therefore welcome people who offer to re-roll. We expect our raiders to integrate within the group and socialise with each other on TeamSpeak, to strengthen friendships and therefore make the raiding environment even more enjoyable. We also expect all of our raiders to push themselves as hard as they can, to keep their raid spots - if we feel someone is under performing they will quickly be replaced.
