“Dissent” Guild

WHO ARE WE:

Dissent is certainly not a new venture. Most of us have known each together for years and sustain real friendships outside of the game, as well as having raided together for a long time. We've done the semi-hardcore thing, we've had our fill of expansions that included 3-4 nights per week of raiding and that's just not what we're about anymore. For this expansion, we plan on only raiding two nights per week and progressing at our own pace while having fun. Fun/alt runs may happen now and again but these are entirely optional.

We have a core team of skilled raiders (some old faces, some new!) that we'd like to add to. In saying this, we will be selective on who we invite into our team, mainly because they must fit socially in addition to playing well. We have a lot of fun and a great raid atmosphere and we are careful not to jeopardise that.

WHEN DO WE SLAY THE PIXELS?

We raid Wednesday & Thursday evenings 8:30pm-11:30pm server time. Invites go out 15 minutes beforehand. We also occasionally have optional alt/fun runs on the weekends.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT?

Being prepared for raids is a MUST. We only raid two nights a week because we all love the wow/life balance so it is essential we make the most of the time we have.
The guild will supply consumables to raiders, but it is absolutely the responsibility of the raider to make sure that they are well stocked up BEFORE raid start.

We expect knowledge of the encounters and regular research of your class/spec as we want everyone pulling their weight. All very simple stuff!

Whilst Cutting Edge Mythic raiding is not a priority for us, we do like to see how far we can push through mythic after heroic has been cleared.

We also have multiple teams pushing M+ each week at multiple levels. There is always room for more skilled players to join us as we see how far we can progress through the mythic system!
