Who is HU?
Barely heard of us before, or just don't know much about us? That's no surprise. Take a look over our roster. You'll find a load of names you've likely never met before. Since we started in January we have avoided poaching any other guilds' members. We've turned down almost every package that's come to us. We've refused to merge with anyone. We find talent, we hone it, and we make the best. And it's given us the best home most of us have ever had. The people in this guild weren't forced to together. There's no cliques. No drama. No old grudges people have to just put up with. Highly Unorthodox is a fresh start for people that deserve it.

Why do we do it?
We making some pretty big claims here. Saying we're the best, or that we make the best? That's one hell of a boast... especially for people not on the bleeding edge of the content. But, we hold to it. Our founding members came from leading guilds. We know happens in a lot of those guilds. We left that behind. Now we run with people because we want to. Because when we go raid, we run with friends. And at the end of the day, we enjoy what we're doing. And we have our lives back too. After running 6 days 5 hours each, we know better. Maybe you don't want to go out, but you surely don't want to throw your head against the same content night after night. There's more the this game, or more to life, and we leave time for it. We raid three days a week, every other day so you can fit in the things you want, and your weekends are your own.

That's not to say we don't get things done. We're still big on making sure people are putting out. From the times we do go pugging for fun, our numbers are up there, or better than many guilds we run with. And as a whole, we are extremely solid. and it's all due to us taking the time help when we find something we could optimize. A lot of the people we brought in can attest to us going over their talents, rotations, gear, movement during one boss or another. And it's not just "do this and don't suck." No one learns that way, and they reject. If you ask a question, you'll get a good answer, or we'll point you were you can find it.
