<Nyx Avatars Veritas> is a group of real life friends
and family. Though some of us have been raiding since early BC,
most of us first started raiding during ICC. For us, WoW is a fun
hobby, but we all believe that if we are going to have a hobby, we
might as well excel at it. Because we only raid three hours per
week, we strive to be as efficient as possible. I would bet that
you won't find a more efficient raid that runs on such a light
schedule.
We currently raid as a 10-man raid core on Friday night 11 PM - 2 AM EST. Specifically, we are looking for people with the following characteristics (in order of importance):
Attitude
First and foremost we want people who are fun to raid with. If you are someone who listens well, sticks around through many wipes, doesn't complain, criticizes only constructively, and enjoys joking around then you will fit right in. If you are God's gift to WoW, then we congratulate you for this, but we don't want you in our raid.
Commitment
We are looking for someone who can raid with us virtually every week. We seek to have a cohesive team, and this is quite difficult when we have to plug in different players each week. Additionally, we are looking for players who come prepared to raids. This includes having knowledge of fights, proper consumables, spec, glyphs, etc.
Skill
We have all experienced the headache of "that" guy who always stands in stuff and repeatedly makes the same mistake. Though skill is farther down the list of importance for us, if you consistently fall well below the rest of the team in dps, or continue to make the same mistakes then you may not fit in. If you have a good attitude and are committed, we are more than happy to try to work with you to improve, but we aren't looking for people to carry through raids.
Additionally we are not necessarily recruiting people to join our guild. If you are happy in your current guild, but looking for a place to raid then we are fine with that. We are also happy to guild people who are interested in joining our team.
