“Velocity” Guild

<Velocity> is recruiting for Mythic Hellfire Citadel Progression, but more importantly, for Legion! We're currently looking to fill our roster and need geared and experienced DPS (preferably ranged). Our guild has had issues filling in the past due to being on a low pop server, but the mass majority of us are mythic experienced raiders. We downed Heroic HFC quickly and now have our eyes set on mythic. The guild atmosphere is laid back and we hope to maintain that as we progress throughout the raids. That being said, we expect a certain amount of class knowledge and fight knowledge, so be sure to bring your A-Game.

The "Need To Know" Info
- Raid Times: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 6-9 EST (3-6 PST)
- Realm: Dragonblight-Fenris US
- We provide 125 food, flasks, repairs, and pots. The usual.
- We use Warcraftlogs as our primary source of logging.

What We Expect From You
- First and foremost, CONSISTENCY. We understand. Emergencies happen. It's more important to let us know beforehand that you will be missing a raid day, and we'll be able to adjust accordingly. It is totally understandable that these moments happen, but unfortunately Mythic is not flexible. One person missing means us having to look for a replacement for that day or else the raid cannot go on. We expect you to be here for raid days, so please be consistent. If you have a day that you know you cannot make, you need to let us know ahead of time.

- Class Understanding: We do log; we're not elitists, but we check your performance. We're critical on ourselves so that each and every member can improve, so take constructive criticism lightly. As stated above, this guild is relaxed, but that doesn't necessarily mean that we just mess around. We don't want to waste your time, so don't waste ours. If you have questions, ask. Know your rotation, your stat priorities, what you're capable of. Play the spec you are best at - we don't need you to swap to the highest SimDPS spec for your class if you're only going to average 60-85 percentile DPS.

- Raid Understanding: We expect you to know what you're doing. Know what adds are priority. We do log our fights so it's easy to check who is tunneling boss. As they say, knowledge is power. You'll probably end up performing better if you focus on mechanics rather than your DPS Meter anyways. Our raid leader/officers help explain fight mechanics/strategies before and during pulls, but do not start a fight blind. Speak up if you are unsure/confused about mechanics. And do your studying beforehand!

- Attitude: Our guild is chill, and we have the tendency to make fun of each other since most of us have been together for quite some time. Our guild atmosphere will seem competitive, but at heart we're all here to have fun. Take everything with a grain of salt, and enjoy yourself while you're in this guild.

Recruitment Details
- We're primarily focused on Ranged DPS, but if you're exceptional, give it a shot. Here are the requirements:

- Heroic Hellfire Completion. If you're stuck on getting your AOTC, that is fine, but we need you to have the majority of the raid completed. Since we're focusing on mythic progression, we cannot be wasting time doing heroic on Tuesdays/Thursdays unless we're getting a quick ring upgrade. Saturdays tends to vary, as we have the option to run alts through heroic or continue progression.

- 715+ Item Level. The average item level as we were progressing through heroic was 710. By the end, the mass majority of us were nearing/exceeding 720. Now that Valor upgrades are here, 715 is more than reachable.

- Server Transfer: Because HFC is currently cross-realm, we don't require that you have to server transfer right away, but eventually it is required as future raids will not become cross realm upon release. Since you are applying, we need you to join us. Long distance relationships don't fly here.
