“Primarch” Guild

About Primarch:

Primarch was originally a 10 man guild from the server Medivh that transferred here in hopes of finding new life with our core team. We saw a server that was heavily one sided and we wanted to bring some competition to a server that was already in the depths of the progression list. We aren't the saviors of Galakrond, but we are here to promote competition and hopefully set an example for other players on this server aspiring to be hardcore raiders. We are a guild that takes pride in uncovering the truth in optimization, we take no pride in who is right, more so that someone has the right answer. A guild can only succeed if the members of said guild are humble. No title, seniority benefit, or affiliation entitles ones opinion over the other. We are here to simply, kill bosses, and look pretty doing it.

Raid Times:

Primarch raids Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:15 pm server to 10:15 pm server. We will occasionally go past the end time if working on progression. We run optional progression raids on friday and monday in order to have more attempts on a progression boss. Saturday and Sunday is reserved to do old content or alternative character raids. Or raids with players whom did not get a chance to raid in the core 10 man during the week.

Attendance:

We take this game seriously, we want to succeed, and it can only happen if we have unparalleled attendance for Primarch raids. There is a required 90% attendance rate in a given month. We understand that real life shenanigans may occur, in this situation let an officer know. Phone numbers are given, emails, facebook accounts, etc. There is no excuse short of a few extreme situations. If a player needs to put tentative to a calendar invite, they must let an officer know of their specific situation and their likelihood of attending the raid in a percentage based response. ex: "Dear Renerock, I have a 70% chance of making the raid tonight, there is a small chance I may have to wake up early for work). We understand that you can't really put a percentage on real life events but it provides us with some generic idea of the situation.

Loot distribution:

Loot does not make the player, the player makes the loot. This is a core principle that we want all raiders of Primarch to understand. However, we do not neglect loot and disenchant it in honor of our pure awesomeness. We understand that loot optimizes players and we are all about optimization. We run a loot council system that consists of all the players present in the 10 man team, everyone gets a say in who gets what so that nothing remains hidden. General loot priority is this: DPS over healing, healing over tanking. There are many DPS walls that is restricted by lack of gear, whilst healers and tanks can get by with "lackluster" gear, especially tanks.
