Update (6/22/17): Recruitment is open! We are in search of a couple
DPS for competitive raid spots in preparation for TOS!
<Sic Finit Noctem> "...Thus ends the night."
SFN has existed in one iteration or another since TBC, and in the nearly a decade since our inception, we have always striven to be a guild which is capable of clearing all content at the highest difficulty possible while at the same time fostering a raid environment which is laid-back and enjoyable. Since the average age of raiders in SFN is between 25 and 30, most of us have careers and families and other things that take precedence in our lives, and because of that, atmosphere is important. We figure that even at three raid nights a week, we spend so much time together that it better be spent with people that we like. No drama, no elitism, just bashing bosses' faces in and getting loot while making fun of each other mercilessly and having a good time. Make no mistake: we still hold our raiders to a very high standard, and performance is tracked through logs and external sources, but if you're looking for a guild where the raid leader is going to spittle-shriek in your face and then gkick you for making a mechanical mistake, SFN is not the guild for you. If you want to clear Mythic content with people that you'd still wanna have a beer with after the raid, then you found the right place.
After finishing each of the last three expansions with Cutting Edge accolades, we have already made our mark in Legion as one of the most competitive guilds on Hyjal. We are currently 7/7M EN, 3/3M ToV & 9/10M NH and we are focusing our efforts at obtaining Cutting Edge on Gul'dan as well. We have had the success we've enjoyed over the years because our members are awesome, not only at pushing buttons but also as people. If you used to raid hardcore but can't put in that kind of time - or take that kind of abuse - anymore, SFN might be the place for you. If you have always felt you were capable of more than what your old or current guild can produce, hit us up. You'll fit right in here.
If Sic Finit Noctem appeals to you, head over to http://sfnguild.net and fill out the recruitment application. Someone will be in touch soon. For more info, contact Makadin (Maktruk#1571) or Pappaslop (Kaleycuoco#1942) in-game. If your class isn't listed here but you think SFN is where you wanna be, apply anyway. We're always willing to consider excellent players regardless of class. Thanks for considering us!
