<Ruin> is looking to add exceptional players to our roster for Dragon Soul. With this being the last tier of the expansion we intend to make our mark on it and end the expansion as strong as we started it. The only question that remains is if you will be apart of it ?

About Ruin

Every day, a step forward.

Constant improvement: It's a mantra that's defined Ruin since we formed on Icecrown-US in December of 2009. Since that time, Ruin has gone from upstart guild at the start of WotLK to achieving feats such as Light of Dawn, Blackwing's Bane, Of the Four Winds, and Dragonslayer.


Ruin owes its success to three key philosophies:

Ruin prides itself on keeping stride with some of the most successful guilds in the world while only raiding three nights per week. To do this, we dedicate the time to prepare ourselves outside of raids, and remain singularly focused while in them.

We believe that one of the keys to successful raiding is creating a safe, mature, drama-free environment devoid of yelling, "nerd rage," or elitist posturing. Our members are firm but courteous, demanding but fair. Most of all, we understand that there are real people behind the keyboards with real motivations and feelings, and treat them as such.

It takes the combined effort of all 25 people to down a boss. To that end, Ruin members will always hold team success above individual performance or reward. We also expect each raider to be "subject matter experts" in their class, and to lend their knowledge and expertise towards developing strategies and working together as a group.

Raid Hours

• Required raids: Tuesday through Thursday from 6pm to 10pm MST
• Optional raids: Monday from 6pm to 10pm MST (held 1-2 times per month)
• Alt/10 man raids held at various weekend times

What Ruin Requires

• Players who don't simply read or watch videos on raid encounters, but who can contribute to strategic, forum-based planning with fellow members
• We prefer extensive experience with heroic content, both in WotLK and Tier 11/12
• Players who perform at an "expert" level with their class
• Able to take constructive criticism and do routine self-assessments
• Guild-first, team raiding mentality
