Raid times: (25-man)
Tuesday 8-12 EST
Wednesday 8-12 EST

The above times are mandatory and we expect high attendance due to the two-night schedule.
Do not apply if you can't consistently make these two nights.



Loot:
EPGP is used for mainspec loot. Off-spec loot is free and roll-based.
We reserve the right to deny loot to new members during their first two weeks raiding with us, but we will never disenchant an item that could have been used.


Guild history:
<nerdcraft> was formed in the first month of Vanilla WoW on Thunderlord. Our raiding core has always been small and consists of individuals who have raided together for many years. We raided all Vanilla content up to original Naxx KT, and all content up to the middle of Sunwell in BC. We transferred to Gul'dan midway through Vanilla to get away from some pretty terrible lag (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4aq-23TwZg), then transferred to Magtheridon in BC when Gul'dan became a ghost town.


Mindset:
We're able to get a lot done on a 2-night raid schedule, but to do so we expect our raiders to know what the hell they're doing. We value situational awareness, sense of humor, and the ability to accept criticism and learn from your mistakes. We try to be efficient and intelligent about progression - it's better to identify your problems and adapt your raid strategy to fit them rather than trying the same thing for hours expecting different results.

Our raiding core is composed mostly of college-aged guys, and our collective sense of humor reflects this. We like to give each other a hard time, so having a thick skin is a plus. We don't tolerate whining, bitching, or drama and we mock endlessly for things like backpedaling, clicking, and keyboard-turning ('Why was Telly late to the raid? Because he had to backpedal all the way home. OSHI'). We don't take ourselves too seriously and we like goofing off, especially on trash.

So yeah, basically we're laid back and we like to joke around, but we also like to get stuff done while we're at it. It's a balance.
