Lightbearer is a guild of players on the Alliance side of Malygos.
The guild began in December 2004 as a way for real life friends to
stay in touch and play together online. Very quickly the guild
began expanding to include other people we met online and their
friends. Lightbearer has been swelling its ranks since with friends
(real life and online) and family members...and alts - lots of
alts.
Lightbearer is a "casual-hardcore" guild that focuses on overcoming PvE content. Organized raids occur every week, although limited to a few nights and only for a few hours each session. Despite the limited playtime - through the knowledge, dedication, and hardwork (and despite ourselves) - Lightbearer has triumphed over all available content...on its own schedule. Since raiding is not the focus of the guild, Lightbearer players are just as likely to be seen questing, running dungeons, PvPing, and wasting time in capital cities together.
The guild prides itself on being a welcoming environment for mature and friendly players. The players of Lightbearer can laugh at their mistakes (using the motto "We create our own hardmode.") as long as they learn from them.
