Raiding Rules:

If you are interested in raiding with us, there are a couple of things you need to keep in mind:
1. 
Min. ilvl is required - 
We understand that good gear doesn't necessarily mean good skill.  We've met awesome raiders that do well with a lower ilevel, and I've seen over-geared people that are just bad players with luck on rolls.  With that being said, there is a certain low limit that is just required in order to make things easier for everyone, so that you can kill things quickly (dps), heal people effectively (healers), or just survive in "oh shit" moments (tanks).  The ilevels above are not hard to achieve if you are dedicated to making your character better.  So do your homework, get your rep items, and you are good to go. 
2. Add-Ons and Vent
 - You need to have installed the required add-ons (GTFO and DBM).  Experienced players might not need GTFO nor DBM.  If you are one of those congratulations, and as long as you do what you are supposed to, we don't care.  However, if you find yourself dead constantly or disoriented during a boss fight specially if you are new to raiding, well then you need all the help you can get and DBM and GTFO will do just that... help you.  If we explain something, and say "DBM will show you" and you don't have DBM, well… we kinda told you you needed it.  VENT IS REQUIRED, unless you can mind read and that sorta thing.
3. Come Prepared  
Consumables:  Bring your potions, food, etc.  It's just courteous to others, and helps speed things up. Flask will be provided, courtesy of MetallicA.
Repair:  Again, to help speed things up.  Every time we have to stop raiding for repair, we waste time. Metallica will also give you free repair after the trial period. **
Gear:  You are responsible for having the right reforges/gems on your gear for your role.  Please do your homework to make yourself the best you can be… yeah, sorta like the Army.
4. Do Your Homework - 
We expect you to watch the fights videos, read and do all the research you can BEFORE coming to raid night. Study the fights, read about them, watch the videos, memorize them, take a picture, write an essay, or do a poem.  We don't care.  As long as you are familiar with what we are talking about when we are telling you what to do, you react immediately. 
5. Follow Directions - 
Listen on vent.  Do as your are told.  Follow Directions.  We kill a boss.  We get some loot.  We move on.  
(If you don't agree with the person explaining the fight, that's ok.  We are more than happy to try things other ways… However, whisper the person explaining the fight.  Don't just start a new thread on the chat or a new conversation on vent, because that just confuses the other people listening) 
6. Be On Time - 
It's only a matter of respect to others to show up, and ON TIME.  We understand that WoW is just a game and that real life comes first, but if you commit to raiding you have people that depend on you.  Tell your raid leader in advance if you won't make it so that we can find a replacement for you.  You can also point us to a friend of yours that can replace you.  The point is, don't just disappear and leave everyone hanging. 
Free Guild Repairs
 - As a raider you will receive free guild repairs and we will do everything we can to help you improve your gear, whether it's help with enchants, help with gems, help you buy gear, etc.  You will be promoted to raider at our discretion.  If you consistently pull your own weight during fights, if we see that you are responsible and committed to helping the guild progress, and if we believe you have the skill we need to progress, you will be promoted to raider.
Looting Rules
: Vyper Main Spec > Main Spec > Off Spec > Guild Keeps
 BOPs:  DE it and put the shard in the bank.
 Guild Keeps BOEs:  Sell it and deposit the money in the guild bank for repairs and what not.
TOKENS:  Reserved for core raiders, PUGs can roll on them ONLY if core raiders don't need them. 

**Trial Period: A new member will have a trial period of 2 weeks. During this period, seniors raiders will roll before you if it's for their ms, after this period is over then normal rules will apply. During this time I will check if:
You are well prepared, know the fights and your class inside out. Pulling up your own weight is always a most.
You are on time. Commitment is paramount if you want to be on Metallica's core group. I understand this is a game but if people are taking time of their life to be there on raid time, I expect you to show the same courtesy and respect for others.
You have the raider instinct. It's very frustrating(it will not be tolerated) that the group can't progress because of the same person always die or don't do what it's suppose to do.
Team player. This is a very close, friendly group. We are always making jokes and helping each other. I don't want a bad apple to spoil it.
