Who Are Monkey Knife Fight?
MKF is a guild built primarily on two rules:
Rule #1 - HAVE FUN! We plan to be serious in our efforts to beat content, but we will not do so at the expense of fun.
Rule #2 - Respect people. Remember that your interactions with others on the server reflect on the entire guild, so don't be stupid.
OTHER INFO:
We utilize class leaders who can help others learn how to play their class to the fullest - no one is ever done learning, and learning will only add to the fun factor of the game.
Although we intend to try to beat all WOTLK end-game content, we will not be a free ride to epics, and we will not raid incessantly. We will schedule raid start and end times a few times per week, and not ask members to over commit. Raid times will be centered around Mountain Standard Time evenings from 9:00 to 12:00 PM.
We use EPGP for raid loot distribution as we believe that effort equals reward. A long time player/contributor should have a better chance to get an item they want than a first time raider. This will strengthen those that will further help the guild. To do this you must reward players that participate and help the guild become stronger over time.
We use Ventrilo for guild in game communication. Although we wish to maintain a family friendly environment, we have channels set aside for folks to express themselves as they want.
We will review your gear scores ie. enchants, gems, gear drop locations as a soft indicator of your experience.
