“Troubled Minds” Guild

Guild Information
<Troubled Minds> is a well established guild of over 3 years strong. As a guild, we started off as a casual guild just looking to play the game. Within our first year of existance, we decided to push the guild into raiding. As a guild, we have pushed hardmodes for a long time without really going hardcore at the content we were defeating. We have decided to take it one more step and try to be one of the better guilds in the US. We do not expect this to happen over night, but we are striving to become a Top 300 US Guild in MoP. There are other things that matter than just progression to us and our members. You must have a personality along with your performance. All of members strive to leave no one out of the conversation and we certainly will not do it to any trials or new members.

Attendance
Attendance has been an issue throughout our raiding, but who doesn't have that problem? We plan to carry a 12 or 13 man roster during MoP. This may mean we will need to sit you for a fight. However, we expect you to be fully prepared and ready to come in if we need you. Our raids will be from 8:30pm-12:00am EST. Everyone is expected to be online and ready to raid no later than 8:15pm EST. If you cannot make the raid or will be late, please give us some kind of notice so we can prepare for that. We will have an attendance thread on our forums for this main purpose. If you cannot make all of our raids (100%) while you are trialing, please do not waste anyone's time. After becoming a member, we expect everyone to show up 90% of the raids unless there is an emergency. Failure to do any of this will give us reason to end your trial period or membership with the guild.

What We Expect From You
We want raiders that can excel at their class without us telling them how to play their toon. You must be able to adjust to certain things on the fly or be smart enough to know how to fix the problem so the mistake does not happen again. Gear is to have the best gems and enchants available. All consumables (pots and flasks) are your responsibility unless we tell you otherwise. We do not tolerate people who do not know their class in and out or people who do not know raid boss mechanics. We study up hard and we expect the same from every member.

Loot System
We run a 3 man loot council for our gear. If a piece of gear is used by more than one raider, we will decide who gets the piece of gear. We look at attendance, attitude, performance, and more when determining who will get the piece. Do not expect to win every piece. If you are a loot whore, do not apply here.

Application Process
Our application process is an average of 2 weeks. However, it can last longer if the council sees fit. Our council will continuously let you know how you are doing and what you may need to improve on to earn your spot. We always give trials a chance to fix what they are doing wrong and prove that they can listen. After the initial 2 weeks, the council and raiders will discuss everything together and then talk to with you their conclusion. As a guild, we will decide to make you a raider, keep trialing you, or tell you that you just are not what we are looking for in a raider.

Once you have submitted an application, please continue to check back often. Expect questions about your specific class/role from our raiders and answer them as best as possible. We will answer as quickly as possible and expect you to do the same. We do not recruit for the bench, so please be prepared to raid right away. We will continuously take new applications because we will take someone who will improve our raid if they are better than our current players.
