<Red Ruin> is currently recruiting for ranged DPS
(particularly a mage and/or shadow priest) and heals with a DPS OS
for our core raid team as we progress through Heroics. Exceptional
melee are also encouraged to apply!
Raiding Info
- Currently 12/13 Normal and 6/13 Heroic. We are progressing FAST. Stepping into Mythic is extremely unlikely, as we are a smaller guild committed to maintaining 2 nights a week. The difficulty isn't the issue, rather the 20 member requirement.
-Raid nights are Mondays 9PM EST-12AM EST and Tuesdays 9PM EST-12AM EST
-Flasks, food, and repairs are provided by the guild.
-Mumble is used for raids
-We consider ourselves a casual progression team, in that we raid 2 nights a week and prioritize fun over hardcore progression. Saying that, players are expected to perform and bosses are expected to go down; wiping senselessly is not fun for anyone.
About Us
Our raid team is mostly comprised of a group of laid-back, wisecracking mid-20 somethings. Several of us have been playing together for 3+ years and we all genuinely enjoy playing together, in WoW as well as in other games. Members of <Red Ruin> also participate in PvP, such as random battlegrounds and arenas, tmogg runs, and leveling alts. Most of our members are on Central/Eastern time, and the guild is more active during the evening/late night. If you're looking for a smaller, close knit guild, with knowledgeable and helpful members who like to fart around together, check us out!
What We're Looking For
-Ranged DPS with knowledge of an OS and/or a healer, an ilvl of 690+ is preferred but this is slightly flexible if it looks like we are a good fit for each other
-Clothies! We have only one cloth wearer and mages and shadow priests are high priority
-Having an active off-spec is a bonus.
-Previous raid experience is a plus, raid members' experience vary from Vanilla raiding to MoP newbies
-We're comprised of and looking for players with personal accountability and pride in their performance. What this means is players are committed to knowing their class, rotation, and being properly gemmed/enchanted, the better to wreck bosses. Our leadership is hands-off until noticeable issues arise.
