RETIRED FROM RAIDING AS OF JANUARY 2018!
<The Varden> is a semi-hardcore Mythic Raiding Guild, centered around fully clearing every Tier while Cutting Edge is still available. Leadership has been working together for years and boasts a very low turn-over rate of Raiders, despite the nature of Mythic raiding. Many of our Raiders have also been engaged in content with us for years, several of which boast former U.S. top 50 Progression Raiding experience.
Unlike many Guilds that aim for Cutting Edge, we do not require alts or split-runs of our Raiders. Instead, emphasis is placed on everyone playing to the highest potential benchmark attainable by their class and specialization, so-as to minimize over-time, additional raid days, and unnecessary wipes.
This is important, as we only raid 8 and a half hours per week.
When We Raid:
Tuesdays, 7:30 PM - 10:00 PM (PST)
Thursdays, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM (PST)
Sundays, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM (PST)
What We Want:
We are looking for quality players; all specializations are given consideration, though our recruitment is extremely selective.
Attendance is Key:
Life happens, and we get that. However, in exchange for our lax raiding schedule, we expect everyone to maintain 90% adherence and give sufficient notice if an absence is inevitable - as such, if you're prone to availability issues or a conflicting schedule, we are not the Guild for you.
Trials are expected to maintain 100% attendance - no exceptions. This is part of your trialing process.
What Is Expected:
- A Distinct Lack of Excuses
- Mumble
- Microphone
- Ability to read WarcraftLogs
- Good Raid Awareness and Mechanical Consistency
- High Performance Benchmarks
- Progression Experience
