About Final Equilibrium

Final Equilibrium is currently active as a World of Warcraft casual PvE guild on EU-Aggramar. Our goal is to have a great time in Azeroth first and foremost. We are a casual guild that for 2 nights a week turn into a raiding machine and are currently at 11/11HC and looking to progress on Mythic.

Our greatest asset is our membership and all members are involved in all decisions affecting the guild.

We have been around as a guild since mid-2005, following a number of mergers from smaller guilds. Our guildies also spent a little time on SWToR while it lasted and a few can be seen playing other games such as Diablo 3 and various games on Steam.

Despite our casual schedule Final Equilibrium has always tried to achieve more than respectable success even with some world top 500 heroic WoW boss kills completed in the past. When we do raid we strongly believe in quality over quantity in all that we do both tactically and strategically.

As most of us are getting on a little these days and have busy personal and professional lives we do plan our raiding around real-life commitments not ahead of them. It has been commented that our raid schedule suits older players with family lives better than younger ones, and a lot of this is due that a number of our guildies have been with us for over 10 years. Whilst we do not block apps based upon age, it is a fair comment that most current members are over 30 (I’m waiting for some of my guildies to now berate me on that statement).

If you are looking for a friendly guild that really tries to make new members feel involved an part of a larger community then you may have found the right place. We particularly want to welcome new MMO gamers and are happy to help you develop and improve as a player. However, we are most definitely a comfy place for battle-worn old MMO veterans to go into semi-retirement as quite simply that’s what most of us are. It's simple really, we are a bunch of grown-up gamers looking to have a blast in World of Warcraft and are happy to meet and help as many new friends as we can along the way.

High-end PvE progression in World of Warcraft can be achieved with a few nights a week progression, are we aiming for World top 100? No, however, we can see some of the most difficult content the game can offer while it is still current without compromising personal and family lives to do so. Some of our raider experience and skill in the past at progression level will allow us to ensure we provide the best possible community gaming experience for like-minded individuals. We want to leave time in-game to do fun casual things like small group content, achievements, (pvp, did someone say pvp?), and hell, even level alts!

Our raid schedule is Wednesday, Thursday 20:00-23:00 Server Time (invites go out about 19.45PM)

Raid attendance is optional and not mandatory. However, we do expect people wishing to join as a raider to commit to a minimum 7 out of the 8 days per month, as well as a certain level of personal preparation, and reliance.
