Excitium is a semi-hardcore guild. We formed back during the middle of TBC on the realm Wildhammer. We raided 25 man content and was one of the guilds contending at the top. We progressed in a very rapid pace through SSC, TK, BT and MH (and got a lot of difficult kills such as Archimonde, Lady Vashj etc.) before the guild collapsed due to a large number of our core 25 man raiding team quitting by the start of Wotlk. The rest of us decided to go our own ways till the time was right.

When the news about Cataclysm 10man instances supposedly was going to be as difficult as the 25man versions and drop equal quality loot, we decided to reform along with core of excitum as a rock-solid 10 man "Semi hardcore" raiding guild that simply aims to be at the top with everyone else, and WE CAN achieve that! BUT WE NEED YOU!Our applicants will under go an uncommon recruitment process, as we’re only looking for the top of the crop cake.

We are currently searching for dedicated, mature and unique personalities for our very exclusive raiding team. If you believe you got what it takes to be a part and contribute to our cause then you will find that this is the right place for you. Our guild consists of players with both high PvE aswell as PvP experiences. We are a bunch of social funny guys & girls that can differ from beeing serious on raids, to having fun out of raids, and thats the most important thing for us. We have a very nice community both on our website and in the guild chat.

We have Officers but we are not using Class Leaders. Everyone is expected to know their class fully. We use Loot Council during our raids which practically means that the Officers decides who gets what.

Since we are a 10 man guild, attendence is very important, we EXPECT you to have atleast 90% raid attendance, we dont use backups. We only use social members who can attend a raid if needed. If you get accepted as a trial, you are guaranteed a raidspot.

This also leads to the other thing; If you don't perform, you will get demoted to social! We have no interest in people that can't give their all during raids.

Standard requirements follows as:

*Be mature and be able to handle and take criticism at ANY level, if you don't perform your tasks, you WILL hear it.

* We speak english both in raidchat and on voicechats, we excpect you to have a microphone, and to be able to speak in it fluently.

* Do everything you can to min/max your character, this includes theorycrafting, gemming correctly, enchanting correctly, coming prepared with flasks/pots and enough gold for repairs for a whole night of wiping.

* Having the right attendance, don't leave us unnoticed if you cannot attend/going to be late.

We raid 4 days a week; Monday, Wensday, Thursday and Sunday. 19.30 - 24.00.

If any of this doesn't fit you, then we are probably not your best choice.

To remind you all again, we are a small 10 man guild, we need to rely on every single member in terms of activity. The reason is that we do not want to re-gear players constantly. We want a consistent raiding team (means that we want the same 10 players raiding constantly) so that everyone knows the tactics from previous nights and haven't missed out on any gear. There will be approximately one raider of each class.

You can expect a very funny, social and friendly guild that actually aims for something and will compete at the very top.

If you are intrested please go to http://www.excitium.eu and read the "Code of Conduct" (important!) at the 'Apply' section. After that write an application.

Current progress 5/12.

Regards,

Excitium
