“Weekend Warriors” Guild

We are a social, casual guild and, we like to think, one of the most admired and respected guilds on our server. We have achieved this because of a number of different factors.

This guild grew from a small group of real life friends who wanted to broaden their horizons and meet similarly minded people to share and enjoy their online experiences with. As the years have passed we have grown into a rather large guild by slowly meeting and recruiting people who we now consider to be friends as well as gaming buddies. There is a real social atmosphere within our guild, where people know each other on a first name basis, where there are always groups doing something together, where there's always someone willing to help out, where we're always having a laugh in guild chat or over Ventrilo.

Also we're mostly a mature guild. Although we love a bit of fun we do expect a certain level of behaviour from our members. We expect everyone to be an ambassador for our guild. To behave in a mature, responsible way when playing with non-guildmembers.

We love to raid too. We've achieved amazing progression in 10 and 25 man raids despite our casual approach. We will never force anyone to raid a certain number of times a week. We appreciate that everyone has life, family and work commitments outside of the game which must come first. However, for those that want to, we can sometimes be more hardcore than even the professional guilds! It's not unknown for some of us to raid every night of the week, but we can do this because we know that nobody is forcing us to do this. We do it just because we want to. And then of course when we have our slow periods, that's ok too.
