History/About Us

In the earlier tiers (early MOP) the guild used to be alliance: https://www.wowprogress.com/guild/eu/the-maelstrom/Sparks

We have been around since T14 mixing between casual/semi-hardcore schedules but our pride has always lied in pushing and enjoying farm content with some of the world's fastest speedkills, overall player parses and more. All of this can be found in WCL by going through previous content (mix of 10/25hc).

Once Mythic was introduced we pushed raiding until Blackhand in BRF (0.3%) and ultimately decided to disband. After all the BFA hype we have merged with 3 other pools of players to form a new and healthy roster of SPARKS.

We have setup rules and guidelines, a clearcut atmosphere (incompetence will be replace/benched) and a very active roster (m+, variety games, many alts). Our first test was being an old "new" guild in the Uldir hype during late October. Fortunately, we overcame all challenges (rosters, attendance, player selection) and successfully achieved our goal of CE. This was able to stabilise the guild and have so forth progressed into BOD. We have set goals to achieve CE over 2 tiers before we can dive in and set a world rank goal. This keeps our feet and heads grounded and focused on building a positive atmosphere both in and out of raids.

This is the mindset we spread across our roster and look for players to bolster performance.

There is a set 10 minute break between 21.30-21.50 based on our pull situation.

Upon roster agreement we will extend the raid by a maximum of 30 minutes should it be of great value (close pulls hype, adrenaline, motivation) but this will not be a recurring occurence.

Goals

Cutting Edge in a sociable atmosphere. We evolve our roster every week and will continue to do so. The previous tier was a big test on our longevity and has paid off so far in BOD. Keep moving forward!
