Founded in September 2010 by a group of experienced players on Lightbringer that we used as a base to attracted similar players, of similar experience and mentality, due to our fast track through ICC towards the back end of WotLK. We were 15% from achieving Bane of the Fallen King (10) and given more time, or if we founded a month or so earlier, it would have been a foregone, but the launch of Cataclysm beat us to it. Of course, now we are on top of it right from the off and we strive to conquer all new content before nerf patches destroy the satisfaction of what we aim to achieve.

Currently 5/12 across all 3 raids in Cataclysm on the 10man versions. We intend on moving our progress into the 25man versions. In order to get to this level of progression we require the above classes.

We have no intention of carrying members through content or enforcing class mechanic changes to thoughs who think they know their class. To counter this we expect all applicants to have this quadset of skills among their playing attributes:

Combat Awareness
This playing tool should be the top priority of your game. Understanding Boss Encounter Mechanics is the first, and greatest, step towards success. This understanding, adherence, will and should prevent hours wipe fests. Learn it fast, adhere to it fast, beat it fast.

Class Mechanics
You should know your class inside and out with fully itemized gear using the appropriate gems, enchants, enhancements and glyphs. You should also have a healthy stock of consumables appropriate to your class and spec.

Raiding Mentality
You will want to raid, not when you can be bothered, but always be there for scheduled raiding events. Remember you don't need the guild, the guild needs you. Your absence could result in a cancellation of an event which is a big no no. Our scheduled events take place on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Sundays and Mondays starting prompt at 20.30 ST, with invites starting at 20.00 ST, due to finish at 23.30 ST. We expect all signed raiders to be online during the invite window. Although we require a 75% raid attendance we do not like to encourage it but that is the requirement.

Respect
You will have the level of maturity that doesn't involve the use of bad language or the incitment of drama that can cause a disturbance within the guild community. Respecting the decisions of the GM and Officers is a must because managing a guild isn't easy.
