BlackTrains - RaidingTeam

"We play not only WoW. We play for a good feeling from this game, attained by teamwork"

Web: http://blacktrains.wowstead.com

We are a Horde raiding guild that have just recently reformed on the server The Maelstrom EU with the intention of securing a name for ourselves among the very best. A vast majority of the players in the guild have known each other for a fairly long time and as mentioned before, we have just recently reformed from EU and US realms. We will thus be having a few more core members rejoining us in the very near future.

Comprised of a core of PVE addicted players, each player in the guild has the responsibility of pushing his/her character to its maximum potential. This encompasses not only the right rotations and gemming, but also the higher end of personal theorycrafting.
As a guild, we strive to provide a stable, mature, and drama-free environment for our members. We believe that maintaining a healthy atmosphere within the community will eke out better performance from the players. Each guild mate pushes the other to achieve higher levels of success and overall performance. Our players will always be prepared to lend a helping hand in order to help you become a better player be it in terms of gear customization, or just overall tips.
When we raid, we raid for fun, and teamwork and dedication plays a key role in our success. We detest wasting anyone's time, including our own. We prefer keeping a fairly varied but dedicated base of about 25-30 members, in order to help maximize loot and in-game guild community.

Our goal is to complete end-game content and thus our only approach to distribute loot in our raids is to assign it in a manner that most benefits the team. Loot is a means to an end, and that end is progression and accomplishment. Our officers are very reasonable and mature individuals with a good amount of knowledge of other classes.

About You:

If you consider a application:

-You like raiding, and want to use a consistent amount of your free time each week towards being a key member of our raiding groups.
-You are familiar with using addons that will benefit you in raids.
-You love to research boss strategies and work on a boss fight.
-While you like raiding, you also enjoy the social aspects of a great group of people working towards a common goal. You want to be part of a community.
-You want to be on a team run by adults, not nerd-raging teenagers, and you desire a guild-wide sense of humor that is mature and witty while not being offensive, vulgar, or overly crude.
-You are looking for the benefits of a tenured leadership core that is never satisfied with just "getting by"
-You show up on time, and you always do what you say you are going to do. You are dependable, communicative, and honest.
-You don't mind being addressed by your first name instead of your character name.
-You are looking for a long-term home, not a "stepping stone" to some other guild.
