“Dark Rising” Guild

WELCOME TO DARK RISING

Dark Rising was formed in April 2013 and has quickly grown into a 25 man raiding guild, some of the officers have raided together since 2008 and most have raided at the highest level. In preperation for WoD we have split into two X ten man Heroic teams as of 5/5/14




Right now Dark Rising is in search of:

Ranged dps, We are full on melee.
Any good healers always welcome especially Resto Druid.

Important: We are interested in improving a few positions within the raiding team during Siege of Orgrimmar and for the upcoming expansion. Dark Rising is an up & coming guild & we are looking for raiders that can add something to our raid but also be able to take advise on their gear/rotation etc plus be a valued member of our family


To be part of the "DR" Family you should be:

A team player that enjoys a laid back atmosphere.
An easy going personality that's not afraid of speaking on TS or in /g.
You dedicate most of your Wow time to improving your char.
Be punctual and reliable.
You can stand out on individual performance mechanics.
Be willing to learn how a professional guild operates.

Our Raid times (all times are server time):

Wed 20:00 - 23:30
Fri (Alt run) 20:00 - whenever
Sun 19:30 - 23:30
Mon (clear up raid) 20:00 - 23:30

Occasionally we will extend raid times but this is only if we are very close to downing a progress boss etc.

The Raiding Roster:

We want a rather tight core with people that are rarely in need of a day away from raiding. The closer to 100% attendance, the better, during progression and farm.

We highly value people with the right attitude along with high attendance and excellent performance. Quality raiders will always feel rewarded in our community. Just as important is your team spirit; you play for the guild. Dark rising is a very competitive environment and you're expected to play your best at all times.

Recruitment:

We are always interested in good applications for all classes. If you think you can perform better then someone in our raiding roster, please apply. Provide all detailed information required and earn yourself a full-time raiding position in Dark Rising. You can also follow our recruitment needs on the website or on Wowprogress. We generally answer applications within a few days. Sometimes followed by a informal interview on TS3.

A few tips before you think about applying:

1. Maxing your character with the best professions, consumables and craftables is an absolute must.
2. Do not rush your application. Filling out questions with one word answers is not the way to go, this is your time to shine, so sell yourself.
3. You will most likely be questioned in your application thread. This is because we want to know and understand more about you and your character.
4. Good attitude, attendance and performance is what distinguishes you between trialist and raider.
5. If your internet connection is unreliable, you should stop reading.
6. This is most likely your first and only impression to our guild, be sure to make it worth our time.
7. Applications will sometimes be finalized in a Teamspeak interview by the officers.
